The Marangu route is one of the most popular routes to the summit of Kilimanjaro. This could partly be as a result of the fact that the Marangu is the least expensive route but more so perhaps the fact that it is possible to do the Marangu route in 5 days thereby getting to the summit one day earlier compared to the Machame route. This is not always the best way due to a shorter acclimatization period. That is one thing to take into account before decided to do the Marangu route.
Nobody, even how fit they are, know how their body will respond in high altitude. If you want to increase your chances for making a successful summit, we recommend the Machame route.
The shared hut accommodation on the Marangu route is one of the main differences compared to the other routes, where you have to camp. Mineral water, soft drinks, chocolates and beers are also sold at all the camps on this route.
All your equipment and supplies are portered and our cook will prepares all your meals.

Looking for panoramic vistas and an unforgettable climb? The 7-Day Mount Kilimanjaro Lemosho Route tour is renowned for its breathtaking scenery and exceptional summit success rates, making it a favorite among young adults and seasoned explorers alike. Starting with a scenic drive from Moshi to Londorossi Gate, the journey begins with two days trekking through lush rainforest to Shira Ridge, before crossing the vast Shira Plateau—a gentle, crowd-free introduction to the ascent.
The adventure ramps up as the route joins the Machame trail near Lava Tower, leading you beneath Kilimanjaro’s Southern Ice Field on the famed Southern Circuit. The summit is reached from Barafu, while the descent follows the Mweka route, ensuring a new perspective on the mountain’s diverse landscapes at every turn.
What sets this tour package apart is the perfect blend of light crowds, varied landscapes, and a higher chance of reaching the summit—a combination that consistently garners glowing reviews from past trekkers. With expert guides, flexible pre- and post-climb accommodation options, and a focus on both safety and enjoyment, the Lemosho Route delivers one of the most scenic and successful Kilimanjaro trekking experiences available.
The Marangu route is perhaps the easiest and most comfortable route to reach the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's tallest peak. We will pick you up from your accommodation in Arusha and drive you to Marangu Gate. From there you follow the trail that takes you to the top of the mountain via Mandara, Horombo and Kibo huts.
The route is well-developed and the climb is constant and of moderate intensity. The only portion that is quite demanding is the approach to the summit. However, you also have the option of adding a day for acclimatization at an additional amount if you want to. The advantage of this route is that kiosks selling mineral water bottles, soft drinks, chocolates and beers are available in camp sites throughout the climb.

Step onto Kilimanjaro’s legendary 'Coca-Cola' route with the 5 Day Marangu Route Trek, designed for those seeking a classic and comfortable ascent. The Marangu route is famed for its gentle, gradual slopes and unique hut accommodations, offering a cozy retreat from the elements. As the mountain’s oldest and most established path, it’s considered the easiest way to the summit—making it a great choice for trekkers with limited time or those who prefer extra comfort, especially during rainy periods. While a five-day climb is possible, adding an acclimatization day is recommended for the best chance of reaching the top. This trek’s USP is its welcoming balance of accessibility and tradition, ideal for travelers wanting a quintessential Kilimanjaro tour package.

Seeking a tranquil yet adventurous path to Africa’s rooftop? The Northern Circuit Kilimanjaro trek is the newest and longest official route, designed for those who crave a remote, peaceful trekking experience with plenty of time to acclimatize. Over 10 days, young adults and their families traverse the least-traveled trails, enjoying exceptional views from the mountain’s northern slope. The route follows the Lemosho trail before branching off, circling via Moir Hut and Buffalo Camp, and summiting from the east. With excellent acclimatization opportunities and breathtaking vistas, this moderate trek stands out for its serenity and safety, making it perfect for travelers seeking a comprehensive and less-crowded Kilimanjaro adventure.
Discover a quieter side of Africa’s tallest peak with the 6-Day Mount Kilimanjaro Climbing Rongai Route tour package. Approaching Kilimanjaro from the north-eastern border of Tanzania and Kenya, this trek offers experienced adventurers a unique ascent far from the crowds. The Rongai route is celebrated for its tranquil trails and pristine wilderness, giving climbers the rare chance to experience Kilimanjaro’s beauty in relative solitude, especially before it merges with the more popular Marangu route near Kibo Hut.
Ideal for those seeking a less trafficked path or for travelers preferring gentler ascents, the Rongai trek is notably less steep than other options, while still maintaining a sense of adventure by using tents rather than huts. The journey traverses untouched rainforest and remote landscapes, offering a striking—if less varied—scenery compared to the Machame or Lemosho routes. One of the route’s key advantages is its drier climate, making it an excellent choice for those tackling Kilimanjaro during the rainy season.
Sleep under the stars in your tent each night, surrounded by the wild, and enjoy a sense of accomplishment as you traverse this lesser-known, serene trail. The unique selling point of this trip is the opportunity to climb Africa’s highest summit away from the hustle, enjoying both the sense of isolation and the raw beauty of Kilimanjaro’s northern face. Perfect for experienced travelers eager for a more peaceful, yet equally rewarding, trekking experience.
For those dreaming of a truly rewarding trekking adventure, the 7 Days Kilimanjaro Climb via the Lemosho Route offers a breathtaking ascent of Africa’s highest peak along its most scenic and least crowded trail. Tailored for young adults and seasoned trekkers, this trip features varied terrain—from lush rainforest to the dramatic Shira Plateau and the glacial Southern Circuit. Nights are spent camping under the stars, with full support from expert guides and radio contact for safety. The route’s unique approach—ascending and descending via different paths—maximizes panoramic views of Mt. Meru and distant Kenya while minimizing crowds. Every detail, from ground logistics to camp setup, is meticulously managed, so you can focus on the challenge and the scenery. The standout of this tour is its perfect blend of solitude and scenic beauty, making it the premier choice for those wanting a quieter, more immersive Kilimanjaro experience.
