If travellers are looking for some winter sunshine in W.Africa in a five * hotel this would not be for them. If, however, one is looking to explore Senegal and/or The Gambia to understand these countries culture, wildlife and societies this trip provides most of what one would wish for. Both countries have similarities in culture and religion but grounded in differing histories they have subtle differences too. Combining both countries in this one trip facilitates understanding of this. Accommodation was varied and only what I have come to expect of Explore!
