Peter Helmy, our tour leader, was insightful. The temples and other sites we visited were all stunning but Peter succinctly summed up the history of the places and made us appreciate it even more. Although our tour group came from different parts of the world , I am sure we all Love Egypt and will cherish our experiences.
I highly recommend these tours with G Adventures. The CEOs are consistently amazing, the locations visited highlight the special nature of the areas, and a lot of thought is put into the itinerary. They are comfortable including accommodations and transportation. And I especially love visiting the Planeterra-supported organizations.
My recent trip to Egypt was nothing short of extraordinary, encompassing the vibrant city of Cairo, the iconic Pyramids, and a mesmerizing Nile cruise. From start to finish, the staff and organization were impeccable, surpassing all expectations. The team was not only exceptionally nice but also went above and beyond to ensure every detail was taken care of, making me feel incredibly well looked after throughout the journey.
The highlight of the trip was undoubtedly the Nile cruise, a truly amazing experience that allowed me to witness the beauty of Egypt from a unique perspective. The seamless coordination and warm hospitality onboard made every moment unforgettable.
Overall, my adventure through Cairo, the Pyramids, and the Nile cruise was a perfect blend of history, culture, and luxury, thanks to the excellent staff and their dedication to providing a top-notch experience. I can't recommend this trip enough for anyone seeking a remarkable journey through the wonders of Egypt
Madagascar was amazing! Such a great country to visit where one moment you're in the mountains, the next on a beach or a bustling city or in the rainforest searching for a wide range of wildlife.
I wasn't sure when I signed up for this particular tour if it was the right one for me so my expectations were reasonably low. What I actually experienced was one of the best tours I have participate in. The whole experience was brilliant. However, the Okavango Delta absolutely blew me away and had such a profound effect on my outlook on life and sitting around fire under the starlit sky will live in my memory forever.
The whole journey through Botswana was truly life changing - at times so basic, but equally, so beautiful. Africa has stolen a piece of my heart and I can not wait to return to explore more with G Adventures.
We had a wonderful experience! The itinerary was really good and our CEOs Luke and Ronald were the best.
There?s two things I didn?t like though.
1. Please just include all the meals during the tour and make the tour more expensive. Not including meals in places like Bwindi where there is no other restaurant option and you?re forced to eat at the lodge you?re staying at anyway is just pointless and annoying as you have to calculate the money you have to withdraw from ATMs and ends up costing you more because of high ATM fees! Either include all meals or do a breakfast/dinner included lunch optional system for people who don?t want to eat lunch
2. Kigali View Hotel. Can?t believe G Adventures picks this hotel as end point and recommends it to its guests! It was really bad. The food was horrible, the rooms smelled, the bathroom smelled. Luckily it was only one night so it was bearable but for people who wanna end on a high or who decided to stay longer that Hotel is a full disappointment! And if you decided to keep it as your end point at least clearly label it as VERY BUDGET and recommendations for nicer hotels in the area.
Excellent experience. A trip the family will not forget. My daughter especially made a connection with Johannes in the delta preparing the meal for the group. It is these types of interactions with people from different parts of the world that I really wanted to share with my kids. This trip achieved that and so much more. A terrific learning experience about flora, fauna and people of a different culture. All boxes ticked for Africa
Excellent. Trip of a life time. Very interesting loved to seeing the animals in their natural habitat but the cultural aspect that were the included aspects but also the additional paid excursions. Many of the expert added guides were very very good adding lots to the trip. I especially liked the guide/researcher to the Namibia in the desert who took us for a tour in the desert describing how the flora and fauna survived without rain etc.so very interesting. I also enjoyed the tour in the Botanical Garden in Cape Town, very interesting but too short. The only caution is that if you take this tour, you need to be aware of the long rides, usually necessary due to the isolation of some sites, and lots of early mornings. Always need to be prepared for lots of tipping on a daily basis. Overall, would highly recommend

My G adventure experience was everything I had hoped for. A great group of traveller's 11 and then 12 but spread between 2 vechicles which meant small group travelling. Staff met our personal needs in a professional knowledgeable manner, which meant we got up close and personal with many animals. Food was varied, birthdays were celebrated, fun was had.
Beyond my wildest dreams.. I'd highly recommend G adventures and I loved that local projects were supported by the team. Staff were happy and felt well supported by their company.

I had an absolutely fantastic time in Namibia throughout the tour. The holiday was alot of fun, exciting and different to holidays I have taken in the past. I would highly recommend the country, Jo (the guide) and G-Adventures to anyone who is interested in Africa/Namibia.

When we first booked the tour we did not know what to expect, as this was our first organized tour vacation. Then we arrived at the airport and everything just started to fall in place. It was very smooth transition into vacation mode. Meeting our fellow travelers and our CEO kicked off the tour with a bang. We immediately connected with everybody which made the experience that much better. Our CEO was extremely knowledgeable and shared a lot of information throughout the trip. He was one of the reasons that made this trip so special. Actually, all of the G Adventures staff that we got to meet, were fantastic.
Having the local moments during our tour were some of the highlights. I never expected to be tour travelling as enjoyable and will definitely use G Adventures again.

Ramez is a really nice and kind person. He is really knowledgeable of the history of Egypt. We went to all of the most important sites and he explained all their history. The drivers and the security are great. We were made to feel safe and cared for. Ramez took into consideration our needs and made sure they were met. We had a lot of fun, and we were left with amazing knowledge about Ancient Egypt. I will probably recommend this tour and our guide to my friends and family.
