Emmanuel

Smooth, Scenic, and Superbly Organized I joined a 6-Day Marangu Route hike with Kilisa Tours, and the whole experience was seamless. The accommodations in the mountain huts were cozy, and the support staff made sure we were always comfortable. Our guide shared fascinating stories about the mountain s history and wildlife. Everything ran perfectly on schedule, and the company s attention to detail was impressive. I ve done many treks before, but Kilisa Tours stands out for their genuine care and world-class service. Couldn t have asked for more!

Find me... munching on strudel in a chandelier-lit Viennese café, chasing gelato through Florence’s cobbled streets, getting lost in Prague’s fairytale lanes and lazing by the river in laid-back Ljubljana.

day 1 - Amsterdam (The Netherlands)

Welcome to the Dam!  Arrival: drop your bags off and meet the small group of like-minded explorers who you’ll be spending the next few weeks with.   Your first group meal: ready for your first taste of Dutch cuisine? It’s all about comfort food – we're talking cheesy potato croquettes, mini cinnamon-dusted pancakes and warm apple tart.  Your evening, your way: if you don’t feel like calling it a night after dinner, Amsterdam’s vibrant nightlife awaits – from cozy canal-side bars to lively music venues, there’s plenty of options to keep the good times rolling.

Sweet tooths, this one’s for you. Overnight adventure: later, it’s time to hop aboard the overnight train to Berlin. You’ll be tucked into your private Topdeck-only 5-berth couchette (mixed gender), ready to ride the rails in comfort. It’s all yours – and Berlin’s not short on ways to win you over. Dive into Cold War history at Checkpoint Charlie or stroll along the East Side Gallery, where art meets activism. Prefer museums? The Jewish Museum is a must. Craving sunshine? Tempelhofer Feld – once an airport, now a sprawling park – is perfect for lazing or people-watching. This trip was fantastic. It was a great way to see a lot in a small amount of time without the stress and pressure of organising your own itinerary. There is also a heap of free time in each place to go and do whatever you want to do. The introductory walking tours in each country made this super easy as we were shown how to use public transport to get into the city centres. It is a fast-paced trip, so keep this mind if that's not what you're after. Finally, our trip leader, driver, and group were amazing. Cass and Attila are standout humans, they know their stuff, and get you from A to B efficiently to maximise your time. They both went above and beyond for our group every day.

The perfect trip to see the major sights and attractions of Europe efficiently. Our Trip leader showed us how everything works in a new country and had the best recommendations. Highly recommend this trip!

The whole trip was amazing - everything was organised down to the minuite which was a nice relief to take the pressure off planning and organising for a few weeks. The included activities were amazing, and the optional extras were well worth the money. (please note lots require you to pay in cash so bring lots of that with you.) it’s a great taste for so many different countries across Europe and gives you ideas of where you might want to go back to explore more in the future. My trip leader Dylan was fun, understanding, knowledgeable and caring. He was able to further explain information when requested, and passed on his personal experiences when he had them of his own.
