Reviews of our Trogir Tours for October
Feedback from guests whose tour started in/around Trogir during October.
We had a fantastic experience. The crew were wonderful and the food in particular was outstanding. The boat has a really traditional feeling with excellent rooms and ensuites. The size of the boat suited us with a maximum of 28 passengers.
I enjoyed the Bike & Sail trip very much. The cycling guides and the boat crew were very accommodating. It helps when you have sunny, warm days to ride up the hills.
A warm welcome greeted us at the airport by our fantastic tour leader Sanja Reiter. I knew from the beginning that the trip was to be a fun and informative one. First stop was the UNESCO pretty town of Trogir, from there we took in the sights and sounds of Split, Korcula (great island and do try the vino from the region), Mjat and the gem of a city Dubrovnik. The optional day trip to Mostar in Bosnia did prove quite a contast but an important one to see.
The trip to Croatia was excellent. I arrived early to enable me to visit Plitvice Lakes National Park, truly amazing. The tour was fantastic, we had a great guide and a fun group. The group was small - 9, which made it easy to get around. The accommodations chosen where in great locations, quiet and comfortable. The tour had a nice mix of structured time and individual time. One half day event should be changed, feedback was provided to improve the tour for others - otherwise it would have been excellent. After the tour I spent an additional 3 days to allow me to visit Mostar and Montenegro. If you are limited to the 7 day tour, I recommend you visit the island of Lokrum as the other two locations are a 12 hour day with 6-7 hours driving time.
This was a delightful, mildly active and varied holiday, with beautiful towns and stunning coastline to visit. A good mix of countryside, towns and culture, and time to enjoy some of the places on our own. My only critcism is that it really needed to be a day or two longer.
