Rabat Tours and Trips

This was my 1st tour and 1st time using Explore and I would highly recommend them! I love that it was a small group of 12 and we had a fabulous tour guide, Mohammed! He shared so much of his knowledge and experience with us that it truly made the tour a wonderful way to visit Morocco! Although the highlights were many, having the last 3 days and nights in Essaouria, with lots of free time to explore or do nothing at the beach, was a great finish!

This trip was a variety of experiences, from the beauty of Rabat, to the stunning blue city of Chefchauen, the bustling medina in Fes to the calm of the mountains. Accommodation was lovely and spacious but most of the Riads we stayed in had a lot of steps up to the rooms and only once had a lift. Our guide Mohamed made the trip special, making sure we all had what we needed and when the unexpected happened (who could predict storms and hailstones) he dealt with everything efficiently and calmly, going above and beyond. The local guides were all excellent too, with a special mention to Rashid in Fes. The home cooked meal in Chefchauen was excellent and a lovely experience. My highlight was a trip out before breakfast to explore the empty blue streets of Chefchauen as the riad we stayed in was perfectly located.

A great experience and itinerary at an appropriate pace. Interesting and mostly good accommodation. Excellent local guides and a good and efficient tour leader. There were a couple of very long journeys and the tour bus was not the most comfortable. The driver was very competent and friendly.

We are on the old side for the holiday and did find it quite tiring but that is not Explore's fault. Our only criticism would be the way we were shown Marrakesh. The local guide was not good. I am sure the part of the tour showing us the soul could have been made much more interesting. Boubker was excellent and could not have done more for us.

This was our first experience with Explore and one of our first experiences doing group travel. Both exceed out expectations. The itinerary gave us an excellent mix of experiences and locations. Our guide was exceptional, providing excellent information, giving us choices where possible, and being very attentive to the group. The accommodations, while varied, were consistently good and tied to local businesses. We look forward to more tours with Explore in the future.

Great tour, visiting all the main towns/ cities in Morocco. Staying in great riads/ kasbah. Lots of free time for individual exploration . Tour manager Hussain was excellent and a real professional and all the local guides were great. All in all , a great trip!
