Osaka Tours in September 2026

A truly memorable holiday, we enjoyed all of it! Our guide Karique was brilliant, always willing to go the extra mile (on our free days with suggestions, maps, and even showing us the way to go) highlights were the temple visit, Hiroshima, Kyoto, seeing the snow monkeys, and deer on Miyajima island.

This tour has something for everyone, from the vibrant food and hospitality, the historical castle's and temples to the vibrant lights of Tokyo and Osaka. The itinerary not only showcases Japan superbly but it will also leave you wondering how you managed to see quite so much. We could never have put together such a comprehensive itinerary and the energy and knowledge of our tour guide Karique made the trip stress free despite the travel, but most importantly he helped to make it unforgettable. Our most memorable moments included the stay at the temple and visiting the Peace park in Hiroshima and taking the train through the mountains. This tour does lean into the traditional so if you are looking for more contemporary Japanese experiences then a little planning for the free days will be a good idea, our guide was always on hand to help with this too. If you're on the fence about this trip then don't be, you will never forget it, it's the best trip I've done.

This was a fantastic taster of the Japanese experience. Our leader Karique made navigating the Japanese rail system such a breeze. From Tokyo to Osaka it was a fantastic experience; shrines to Skyscrapers, Temples to tragedy in Hiroshima. This trip has it all. Until you've had Sushi in a proper bar, negotiated a meal by pointing at menus. Bowed to complete strangers and think nothing of it, you have to try this holiday

This tour provided a wonderful taste of Japan with respect to both cultural and societal aspects. The food was also amazing and we were provided with opportunities to enjoy traditional dishes. Each place visited was different and added to the whole experience.

Brilliant leader - Karique. Lovely group. Good mix of group activities and free time. Efficient and problem free holiday. Wide variety of Japanese experiences and locations. Would take out one location stop to give more time in others (namely Takaya). Quite a lot of travelling, however trains on time and fast. Could have easily stayed longer!

The trip was everything I expected and more. Great trip with a brilliant itinerary combining so much to give a real flavour of Japan. It has definitely made me want to go back and explore more of the country. The tour covered so much with cultural, historical elements seeing the past and present. Too many specific highlights but the monkey park was great, as was the Golden Pavillion in Kyoto and Hiroshima.
