Mount Kilimanjaro National Park Tours in Spring

I recently completed the 7-day Lemosho Route hike to Mount Kilimanjaro, and the experience far exceeded my expectations—especially in terms of safety, professionalism, and overall organization. From the moment we began the trek, the crew’s attention to safety was clear. Our guides were exceptionally well-trained and experienced, conducting daily health checks that included monitoring oxygen levels and asking detailed questions about how we felt. They were incredibly proactive in spotting early signs of altitude sickness and adjusted the pace and rest stops accordingly. This gave our entire group the confidence and peace of mind to fully enjoy the journey. The Lemosho Route itself is both beautiful and well-paced for acclimatization. We walked through rainforest, crossed high moorland, and trekked over alpine desert—each day offering a new challenge and new scenery. Thanks to the route’s gradual ascent and the crew’s careful pacing, everyone in our group adapted well and reached the summit successfully. The support team—porters, chef, and camp staff—also played a huge role in keeping us safe and comfortable. Camps were set up promptly and securely, meals were warm, nutritious, and catered to our energy needs, and clean drinking water was always provided. Hygiene at camp was clearly a priority, and handwashing stations and daily sanitization made a big difference. On summit night, the guides ensured we were fully prepared both mentally and physically. Their encouragement, constant monitoring, and careful pacing made a very difficult climb feel achievable and safe. If you’re looking to hike Kilimanjaro and safety is a top concern, I highly recommend the Lemosho Route—and even more so, doing it with a professional, experienced team that prioritizes your health every step of the way. It was not just a successful summit, but a safe and unforgettable journey to the Roof of Africa.

Our Kilimanjaro climb happened on 1st January, 2025 was an experience of a lifetime. The guides including Gabriel were highly professional and ensured we were comfortable every step of the way. The local travel expert and our guides, FC and Matthew, as well as our porters, far exceeded any expectations I could have had for our climb. Before we even set foot in Tanzania, they were welcoming, informative, and helpful. Day 1 we were greeted by our driver Nixon and our guides, who walked us through the climb and checked our gear to ensure we had everything we needed. Any equipment we didn’t have, they provided high quality items to rent at a very reasonable rate. The Lemosho route was an incredible experience, with beautiful, sometimes alien landscapes, but was truly made unforgettable by our knowledgeable and encouraging guides, the porters, our cook Tom, and our waiter Musa. The food prepared on the mountain was probably the most unexpected, as it was different and delicious each day and was truly appreciated. Every aspect of the trip was well planned and executed by the travel specialist. Thank you again for everything.

THIS WAS FANTASTIC!!! I could not recommend this tour company any more highly. Every aspect of the trip was exceeded and we were surprised everyday with a new adventure. The mountain and the route were fantastic, but what really made this such a worthwhile investment were the guides. Everyone encouraged us, the entire time. The food was fantastic, the accommodations were superb and the equipment was top notch. I also really appreciated the organization of the tour company, which made us feel like we were in great hands. Our guides (Peter and Daniel) amazing guides and very experienced. They checked our gear before the hike to ensure we had everything we needed. They monitored our heat rate and oxygen levels each night. They knew when we needed encouragement and went above and beyond to get all eight of us to the summit. The porters that carried our tents, food, etc were friendly and helpful. The local tour operator knows their stuff. We could not have done it without them. We highly recommend them if you are planning to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro.
