Everything was great, except 1 hiccup at the hotel in Cusco. From the look, it's nice. But not functional. Faucet wasn't proportional, so when the water ran, the whole counter got wet & ran down to the bathroom floor. The mattress kept sliding away from the bed. The hotel dining area was leaking when raining. We could hear people outside talking from our room. Other than that, the rest was perfectly fine.
such an amazing trip and itinerary. i took my 15 year old daughter and it was a fabulous adventure. Learned so much and really enjoyed getting off the grid and the challenge of the hike as well as getting to explore Cusco and some of the smaller communities in the Sacred Valley.
I just trust that everything is taken care off to let us just experience and understand something of the culture. Even the altitude difficulties didn't deter the group pulling together for each other.
