Japan 2024 - What a fantastic trip, Japan was full of culture/history and just a wonderful country to visit, Matt our guide was amazing, he had a lot of knowledge and answered any questions and overall a really fun guy. Would highly recommended doing the Japan trip with intro! I will definitely be booking a future trip!!
Me and my partner Ellie have just finished the Japan tour and honestly it was just unreal to experience all those places in Japan! So much to do! There wasnt a moment we werent bored! The hostels were brilliant too and very clean! Travelling around Japan with the Pasmo cards is dead easy and the people of Japan are so friendly! Having lots of free time to do what we wanted was great too so we decided to go to Universal Studios in Osaka and Round 1 with Jeremy our tour guide! Jeremy was beyond excellent! The man was amazing and honestly a fantastic man all round! The tips, advice and help he gave us throughout the tour and after was amazing! Ive done Bali and Japan with intro now and me and my partner have booked the Bali 15 day experience already for her to experience!
The trip exceeded my expectations, I now have memories that will last a lifetime. Seeing the different areas of Japan, very beautiful and a place like no other. Seeing the snow monkeys was so cool and the stunning temples. It was also great to see the iconic Torii gates of Fushimi-Inari. It was a good mix between city life and culture. I have done 4 countries with Intro now and I am looking forward to doing the South Africa trip next. Jeremy made the trip extra special, his energy was contagious. He went above and beyond for the group. Whether it was researching recommended for places to eat for the people with dietary requirements or helping people that wanted to see different sites and instructing them on how to get there, how much it costs etc. He looked out to make sure everyone was having a great time. We were very lucky to have him as our leader for our trip.
My husband Ben and I finished the Japan tour with Jeremy a couple of days ago, and wow, we had an absolute blast. The itinerary is perfect, everything has been thought out so well, and the places you visit and things you see are just breathtaking. The group size is just right, and our tour leader Jeremy was superb. Nothing was too much trouble, and he had so much energy and passion for everywhere we went. A truly inspirational guy. Ive seen some criticism online about why the tour doesnt go to Hiroshima - we are there now, as we are travelling independently for a few days before we go home (with Jeremys help to plan!) - and it is an incredible place to visit, but I dont think personally it would sit right on the tour itinerary as it is quite a harrowing experience. Its important to see and Im glad we have come here, but I dont think its right for the tone of the intro tour. They have planned it all perfectly, and if you do it, youll have the time of your life. Japan is an amazing country and Intro help you to experience the culture and have the best time ever. Thanks for the memories Jeremy! ¸
My recent trip to Thailand was amazing. Ive not stopped talking about it since I came back. I did the 13 day Thai experiance and it was well worth the money. Our guide, Dan, was fantastic at catering for dietary requirements and making sure that our group was looked after. One night I was sick and he made sure I got back safely and checked in on me. The trip was really well organised, very little waiting arround and I dont think I couldve done the same number of things even if Id given myslef 21 days rather than 13! Overall, I really loved the trip and am booking in for the Japan tour hopefully soon!
GO TO JAPAN NOW! I had an absolutely amazing time on the Japan tour ! Nathan was a brilliant team leader and at times he just felt more of a friend - I honestly dont know how he managed to put up with me and my questions for 13 days - he needs a massive bonus just for that! He was really attentive and always made sure we were safe and having a good time! He also had a really good way of managing expectations so that everything felt like even more of a bonus or had even more of a wow factor! Its definitely a thankless job at times but I do hope he know how much we all appreciated his efforts! I would definitely do another tour with him if he would have me back! Moving between destinations was seamless and it made such a difference- Im so glad I didnt have to navigate Japans transport system on my own! The accommodation is brilliant although I wasnt a fan of the pod system in Tokyo especially for three nights! The temple stay was a definite highlight for me - along with a spectacular view of Mount Fuji! It was also nice that if your someone that needs your own space you can go off and do your own thing and just join the group later but I do think you miss out on trips and activities that have been carefully selected! One thing Id love to see on this whole tour would be a good food tour (maybe Osaka) most people come to Japan intrigued by the food and I found it could be quite hit and miss! All in all dont hesitate just book this awesome adventure!
