Kyoto Tours in August 2027

I?m so thankful that G Adventures made travelling abroad such an easy and enjoyable experience! It was a wonderful way to go off the beaten path, and experience lots of local culture along the way.

I had the pleasure of having Meg as our tour guide during our trip to Japan, and she truly made the experience unforgettable. Megs knowledge of Japans history, culture, and hidden gems was remarkable. She brought each location to life with engaging stories and insights that you wouldnt find in any guidebook. Her enthusiasm was infectious, and she went out of her way to ensure everyone in the group was comfortable and had a great time. Whether it was helping us navigate the busy streets of Tokyo or guiding us through the temples of Kyoto, Meg was always attentive and patient. If youre looking for a tour guide in Japan who is knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate, I highly recommend Meg.

Just completed the 13 day Japan tour with group leader Lachie and an excellent group! Lachie did a great job. I never felt stressed about getting around, even on our travel days and numerous changes along the way. He engaged well with all the group members and added to the positive atmosphere. There was a good balance of planned activities, as well as free time. Along with plenty of good recommendations if you don;t have anything in mind.

Just finished the 13 day Japan tour and it was absolutely awesome. I couldnt recommend it more, especially under the guidance of our group leader Lachie. Being able to commute around a foreign country without having to worry about timings or transportation was great, as it allowed for me to fully immerse myself in the new culture. Lachie was able to make me feel very welcomed and comfortable in Japan, additionally he was boats loads of fun, even hosting an incredible game of trivia. The accommodation was all excellent and the activities were extremely fun. 10/10 would recommend ¸

Just completed the 13 day Japan tour, and I cant recommend it enough - genuinely one of my best travel experiences yet! The experience of travelling to a foreign country, especially by yourself, can be a bit daunting - but with Lachie as my group leader, I had nothing to worry about. He easily handled all the less glamorous sides of travelling, such as sourcing transport and accommodation, and allowed us to fully focus on enjoying our time in such a beautiful country. He added a huge amount to the trip, from planning and recommendations to being good company in general. The experience was incredible from start to finish. Its something I will never forget, and I consider it an honour and a privilege to have spent it with an amazing group of people. Would 100% recommend! ‘

Did the Japan adventure tour starting 25th November with our tour guide Lachie. Awesome experience. All the activities were super fun and engaging. Lachie was very knowledgeable and eager to help whenever possible. HIGLY RECOMMEND
