Havana Tours in January 2027

The accommodations were great. The owner and his family did not live there, but came by each morning to have breakfast for us and help us get started each day. Nicer than the pictures online. Probably the nicest place in the area. 15 minute walk to the bear restaurants in the area. The walk was safe but Old Havana is a fraction of what it once was. The Cuban people are wonderful but are clearly dealing with a tough situation.

Alejandro was excellent in every way. He made this trip better than it already was. He was always energetic, thoughtful, and going out of his way to accommodate us. If there were any unexpected hiccups they were dealt with, with little interruptions if any to the trip. He was the first up and the last to go to bed. On a trip like this, the guide can make it or break it and he differently made this trip. Alejandro, you are the best, thanks for your hard work, and patience, and for making it an unforgettable wonderful time. This will be one of my best memories. The trip highlighted all the places and things I wanted to see and do without the hassle of me figuring it out on my own and I liked the fact that the groups are small.

The tour guide: Adrian is an amazing tour guide. He is very knowledgeable about Cuba and is very on top of the tour logistics at the same time. Going back home, I feel I know a lot about this beautiful country and its lovely people and I had a very memorable trip at the same time. The tour and the guide were excellent, and we saw a lot more than we were expecting in Havana. They were also flexible in letting us see some places on our list so we appreciate it. The hosts in Varadero were also very accompanying especially when we asked to stay a couple extra nights. Overall the tour was fantastic.

Guide Yasiel and driver Yosvani provided an authentic, fun, safe and educational experience. The opportunity to support the Cuban people was a priority via the personal casa stays and visits to local businesses. Beautiful, warm, great food, drinks, dancing and music. Highly recommended.
