An amazing hike. It is hard work with lots of mountains to climb, but very rewarding. The app makes it really easy to follow the route. The white villages are beautiful and all the accommodation was very comfortable.
We had an amazing 2.5-week family trip to Spain The country’s rich culture, delicious food, and beautiful sights left us in awe. We loved exploring cities like Barcelona, Seville, and Granada, with the Alhambra being a standout. The local tour guides were fantastic—knowledgeable, friendly, and made each site come alive with stories and history. The people were welcoming, and everything was family-friendly, making it an enjoyable trip for our daughter too. Highly recommend Spain for a mix of history, culture, and relaxation
Good tour guide. Too much adding pax and changing bus. Cause confusions when original passengers are not in the bus and additional passengers came onboard and occupy seats used by existing passengers. Hotels rooms are ok but a couple of them have poorly maintained bath facilities. A couple of hotels are not conveniently located.
.I went with my son for the trip of a lifetime and this lived up to expectations. Everyday we saw something new and amazing, from molten Magma in a Volcano, swimming in lake Nicaragua, hot or cold springs, the Caribbean or Pacific, seeing Sloths and Crocodiles . Incredible. The guides Roberto and Memo and the support teams were excellent, passionate about the environment and incredibly knowledgeable, well organised and looked after everyone.
There is a lot of enjoyable walking to be had on this trip, varied routes and tantalising views of big ridges and high peaks. There is also wildlife a plenty but it does need looking hard for. There are some steep ups and downs in places but the paths are considerably better than I had expected and are all very 'doable' if you have a reasonable level of fitness. The hotel in Berchules is a comfortable and very friendly base to operate from, Wendy and her staff couldn't do enough to help and they serve up some appetising food too; tThe packed lunches are perhaps the best I have had anywhere. If you have an interest in avaiation history ask Wendy about the Royal Air Force Asscoiation plaque that is on the bar! Granada is a complete and very enjoyable contrast, a city with a really nice 'feel' to it. A different but decent hotel. The Alhambra really is a must - it would be a shame to not see it if you are in the city.
What an amazing adventure. I have been on several Exodus trips - hiking and cycling - and this was my favourite so far. Three countries in 2 weeks - brilliant guides/mechanics; great bikes, beautiful scenery and locations.... all you could ask for and more. The cycling is moderate/challenging - good roads throughout and the bikes are excellent. The bikes have speedometers which show your speed, distance covered etc which is really helpful. There are a few challenging hills but overall it is manageable. The group has a leader at the front and one at the back of the group (I was at the back!) so you can take whatever time you need! Plenty of stops for water and fresh pineapple and biscuits.. It was very warm and humid so be prepared to be very sweaty! All three countries were beautiful. Plenty to see and do whilst you cycle - our guide - Roberto- was extremely knowledgeable about everything (don't think there wasn't anything he couldn't answer) so the cycling was interspersed with breaks to show us wildlife, views, swim at a beach... The hotels were good - some more basic than others- but all decent. Some of them were fantastically located, right on a beach or on a beautiful hillside. Food was very good - lots of seafood; those who were vegetarian found it harder to find choices in some places though On a free day, 10 out of our group went zip wiring in Costa Rica- brilliant fun and I would definitely recommend it if you are okay with heights
