Edinburgh 7-Day Tours and Trips

I would have preferred more time at Loch Ness and skipped the Isle of Skye. A visit with some highland cows as part of the tour would have been nice too. Everything else was wonderful. Our director was awesome!

This tour was great on several levels. The tour director and bus driver were excellent and extremely knowledgeable about all the sights and destinations. The food and drinks were delicious. I tried everything, but didn’t care for haggis. The hotel beds were all nice and I slept well the entire trip.

So much packed in, yet relaxed. Great to get multiple perspectives on life in Scotland. Learned so much about the land, the history, the people. The extras are great. Hopefully you have Nina and Steven. They are incredible!

Tour guide and driver were superb in every way. Accommodations were all very good to excellent. All meals were delicious. As a party of 8, we felt connected to the group as a whole. Would have increased some time for more local Celtic music and arts. Lots of castles - lots of steps and we wereOn the younger side of our tour. Would tour anywhere with and again! Would also have been excited for some sport - even horse racing, etc. We missed the midges, so we’ll call it even! Inverness and GlencoeWere the trip highlights. Did not encounter one rude or difficult person in any town; we felt quite humbled by the welcome, like family. Bring home tons of souvenirs to support the artisans there. We’ve nothing like it here!

Everything was great. The places we visited were both interesting and beautiful. The add ons were all lovely. The hotels we stayed in were very nice. The one in Laggan was especially beautiful with amazing scenery. Our guide Nina was excellent. A very caring person. Extremely helpful. Stephen our driver was the best.

I love the way Kirsty our guide incorporated the sights with useful information, music, local treats, games. It felt like a well planned experience, not just a hop on hop off tour. Kirsty was on top of every detail even before travellers asked. Nothing was too much of an ask.
