Cluj-napoca Tours in Fall

I had an unbelievable time -- as a solo traveler, having an itinerary so filled with essential sights. During these seven days, I met some fantastic passionate people, like Laur, my tour guide, passionate about Romania and the country's history. For those traveling in Europe, Romania is a destination you should consider; I'm not the only crazy woman traveling in eastern Europe.

"This September I opted to join this company on its 8-day Classic Tour as I was attracted by its comprehensive itinerary, and boy, I wasn't disappointed! Its programme is indeed well-conceived, allowing you to gain a deep understanding of the country's history, geography, culture and traditions. "The ‘classic Romania’ trip organized by this tour operator was very well organized: excellent hotel choices, comfortable car, knowledgeable, professional and friendly driver/guide. Although the weather was not always on our side we still had a memorable trip with lots of highlights, interesting facts and encounters and many lovely memories to share with Alex - our young and pleasant companion. The trip offered a wonderful insight into rural Romania. The food and hospitality provided were of a kind that's rare to experience. It was very special. Gigi, our guide went out of his way to do his best to accommodate everyone's needs. He was truly our shepherd. The walks were extremely beautiful and at the end of each day the beds comfortable!

Walking in northern Romania, staying in family owned guest houses and having a guide who was familiar and known to local people during our day long walks was just marvelous. Scenery was breath-taking and people welcoming and friendly. Just take your walking sticks as there is some steep and rough terrain. Do it - you won't regret it!

Our recent guided walk in Romania was an enchanting adventure, with story book scenery and a view into rich peasant culture that I thought only existed over 150 years ago or in fairy tales. We were fortunate to have Gigi as our guide. His innate good nature, kindness and enthusiasm was a balm for all on the trip. We felt safe and happy under his guidance.
