Bergen Tours and Trips

Many have asked what my favorite part was. There were so many things that I cannot list just one. This was our first tour and we liked getting off the beaten path and experiencing different things. The size of the tour was great so we were able to get to know everyone. The people on the tour were wonderful and so was everyone we met.

The fjords & glaciers met our expectations! Plus the waterfalls, bridges, tunnels, quaint villages & the nature in general were all a sight to see. Norway’s is steeped in history and it’s present day has global influence for the best.

As an Exodus staff member, I recently had the pleasure of visiting this incredible country, Norway. I was blown away by how stunning the landscapes were, including numerous waterfalls and valleys created by ancient glaciers still visible today! Our group had a refreshing mix of people; forever laughing and enjoying our best life exploring the Fjords!

Excellent trip which was well organised and gave the right balance of group activity and free time. The train journeys and overnight ferry crossing worked well and the fjord boat trip and flåm railway were lovely. It would be interesting to see more of Denmark and Sweden but that would make it quite a long trip, however my appetite to revisit these countries has been whetted! Paula was a very good tour leader!

This was an ideal one week tour that was full of interesting and beautiful activities and scenery. Our tour leader kept us well and truly informed about the tour and Norwegian culture. She was focussed on looking after the group and ensuring they got the most out of the tour. The travel time between activities were appropriate and not long.

Backroads tours were amazing, our tour guide Renee deserves a full 5 star rating if there were 10 stars id give her them, she went above and beyond expectations,. We had a bad experiences with our baggage not arriving for two days it was so distressing, she contacted the airport for us as we couldn't use our phones, it was so less stressful due to Renees assistance. The bus driver was extremely experienced those roads were tight and he got to us everywhere we needed to go in record time. I'd definitely recommend Back Roads tour for anyone looking for an intimate exciting tour with like minded people we've made friends for life . The small details and little extras like our yummy cinnamon buns , Renee again is so thoughtful. We're considering doing another tour within the next few years.
