In the morning, we’ll embark on a panoramic tour of the Danish capital with a local guide. Copenhagen, the largest Scandinavian city, is full of contrasts, featuring the popular Tivoli Gardens, Christiansborg Palace, the charming terraces of Nyhavn, and the iconic Little Mermaid statue. In the late morning, we’ll journey to Jutland. Our route includes crossing a 20 km bridge over the sea and stopping at Odense, where we can explore its Gothic cathedral and H. C. Andersen’s House. Upon arrival in Aarhus, you’ll have free time.
We’ll travel to HIRTSHALS and take a ferry across the North Sea to NORWAY, embarking on a threehour voyage to KRISTIANSAND. From there, we’ll continue along Norway’s stunning southern coastline. Our next stop will be the charming little town of FLEKKEFJORD. We’ll then arrive in STAVANGER, a picturesque town with a bustling port by the fjord. Note: The ferry schedule may vary depending on the month, but you will normally have time for lunch on the boat.
Upon leaving the city, we’ll stop at the Swords in Rock monument, a tribute to the Viking era, before continuing our scenic route through tunnels, bridges, and some segments by boat along the fjord coast of NORWAY. One of these undersea tunnels is the deepest in the world. The two boat trips will make this part of the journey both relaxing and spectacular. We’ll arrive in BERGEN at lunchtime and take a cable car up Mount Fløyen for amazing views of the town and the Bergen fjord. Afterwards, you’ll have leisure time to explore the capital city of fjords.
Today, we’ll experience more breathtaking landscapes, including Norway’s fjords, glaciers, lakes, and forests. Our journey will take us to Sognefjord, the largest fjord in Norway. Along the way, we’ll stop at the stunning Tvindefossen Waterfall. Then, we’ll embark on a magnificent cruise between Gudvangen and Aurland, enjoying the stunning scenery during this hourandahalf voyage. We suggest having lunch on baord. Continuing our adventure, we’ll traverse magnificent snowcovered landscapes and pass through the Aurland Tunnel, the longest in the world. We’ll make a brief stop to admire the exterior of Borgund Stave Church, considered the bestpreserved medieval wooden church in Norway. Finally, we’ll arrive in Oslo with free time to explore the port, main streets, and the artwork in Frogner Park.
We include a panoramic tour of the Norwegian capital with a local guide. This city blends vibrant modern architecture with classical buildings, stunning scenery, and large parks with sculptures. Oslo has been named the European Green Capital. After the tour, you´ll have free time to explore on your own. Next, we’ll depart for Sweden, passing through landscapes of forests and lakes. Our next stop is Örebro, a historic town by a beautiful lake, with a castle and a charming old town. Enjoy some time for a stroll before we continue to Stockholm, arriving in the evening.
Today we’ll embark on a panoramic tour of this beautiful capital city, built on 14 interconnected islands. We’ll visit Gamla Stan, also known as the “the city between bridges”, the lively old quarter filled with monumental buildings such as the Nobel Prize Museum, located right beside the main square of Stortorget which honors Nobel Prize winners, the Cathedral, and the Royal Palace. Whenever possible, we’ll enjoy the stunning views from the Fjällgatan viewpoint. Afterwards, you’ll have leisure time to explore. We recommend visiting the museums and parks. Optionally, you can visit the City Hall and the Vasa Museum.
After breakfast, our journey will come to an end, leaving you with wonderful lasting memories.
Had a great time Antia our guide was outstanding. She added info and history to make each destination more interesting. One suggestion is to either place Oslo hotel closer to downtown sigjt seeing or give a longer time to explore the next day. We got in later in the day to Oslo and trip to tiwn was long and not near transportation and then the next day we didnt have alot of time to explore the city. Felt rushed in Oslo for those reasons and the night we got in there wasnt much to do near hotel and only reataurant near closed an hour after we got to hotel.the optional tour required 12 people but tour only had 10 so we couldnt do it. The spanish speaking had 29 so they could do it. Seems like accomodations could have been made since we didnt have enough on the tour.
