Reviews of our Belfast Tours for July
Feedback from guests whose tour started in/around Belfast during July.
Our tour director was very good, as well as our bus driver. They were very attentive each day to all 28 of us. Ireland is a beautiful country and the tour gave us opportunity to see so much of it, starting in Dublin and ending in Belfast. One suggestion I would make, having water available on the bus.
On days where nothing is planned, make arrangements for a hop-on/off bus with suggested hop off locations/sites, that will not be included/toured on the group trip. It's too hard to figure out what we will and will not see (when the tour just says walking tour) and how long our free time will be on a trip. For example, I would have like to have seen Trinity College, Holyrood and other frequently visited places. The Cliffs of Moher where gorgeous, but I really could not pick out one thing.
The tour was amazing in Ireland. John was awesome and we all felt well taken care of and very safe we could not have got a better tour guide and the driver was excellent. His skills were amazing and he also was so friendly and helpful. I would request both of them on any other tours I take.
John our tour guide was so knowledgeable & engaging. It was the best experience I’ve had and this was my 2nd pilgrimage to Ireland with Collette. Our bus driver was so professional, friendly, he became part of our group. John was always dressed professionally & there was a feeling of high regard. He was just wonderful!! The total Ireland experience was great, I enjoyed the Medieval banquet, very nice, food was delicious & just plain fun. Very good balance of scheduled events & personal time. Hotels were excellent & dinners were delicious! The tour guide in Scotland was so opposite from John. He was knowledgeable, but so casually dressed. Personally, I felt we were interrupting his weekend. But, I guess Scotland was to be a non structured tour.
It covered Ireland from Dublin to Belfast and A LOT in between. It offers the opportunity to visit popular sites and some off-the-beaten track adventures that are just as memorable.
Gorgeous sceneries and breathtaking landscapes, knowledgeable and meticulous Travel Director who curated fascinating details which provided context for every destination and went out of his way to ensure we got the most out of each journey, and a highly skilled and careful driver who makes us feel safe and comfortable on the new coach. One of the hotels could be better but otherwise, a memorable trip!
