Feedback from guests whose tour started in/around Belfast during October.
I especially loved the stunning Irish coastal scenery, like rhe Cliffs of Mohr and the Northernmost ones. Kissing the Blarney Stone was a memorable adventure. And our guide, Michael Talbot, couldn’t have been more wonderful. His informative or amusing stories during our bus rides were great. One “extra” I would cut was the “pub entertainment night” in Derry. The food there was inedible, and the entertainment felt repetitive and went on too long.
The hotels that we stayed in were very nice. All the meals provided were above average. The itinerary for the tour hit all the high spots. Our Tour Manager was good however it was very difficult to understand her on the bus when she was speaking into the microphone. When you spoke one-on-one with her, it was not difficult to understand her. She was very accommodating in switching the tour around so that we could go to the cliffs. She was always able to recommend good restaurants in the towns that we were at. Our final night at Kings Court, Cabra Castle was really very special
The accommodations were wonderful, better than expected! Fiona was very helpful. I appreciated her ability to keep everyone on schedule and was just an all-around great tour guide. Fiona was very knowledgeable, kind and fun. I'm so glad she was a part of my Ireland vacation.
Loved it! The guide was caring and knowledgeable. The landscape was amazing! Very well organized. The rooms were beautiful, just one was a long walk for my roommate with walking challenges.
John Hogan - our tour "Master" - made everything work smoothly and on time. While we know that the planning was done well in advance, he was our guy on site. He was both informative, as one would hope, and a fair taskmaster (informing us several times about what would happen - and then making sure that we were all in place so that it did happen - on time).
Cliffs of Moher and staying in the Kingscourt castle. So many things that were so fun like the carriage ride in Killarney, watching the dogs work the sheep in Kilcorney.
