Bari Tours in Fall

I was so impressed with how well this was organized, the choice of itinerary, places to stay, restaurants, and the tour leader. I could not have been happier with my choice of a first time tour.

Loved this tour. Staying in Matera in the cave was a highlight and also staying in the Trulli house in Alberobello. Could have done without the farm visit, it felt like it was just filling in time. Would have preferred to visit Monopoli or similar. Same with the wine tasting. I think it’s such a waste to start the tour at 6pm, have a city tour in the dark then dinner. Much too late. Itinerary simply said meet at 6pm for welcome meeting then enjoy dinner with the group. Nothing about 2 hour walking tour of Bari. We already explored Bari on our own during the day because of how the itinerary was written. Otherwise I enjoyed it and would recommend.

Great trip to a not over touristed area. Great itinerary with a relaxing pace and free time. Sonia’s enthusiasm for the area rubbed off. Highlights were Matera and Alberobello. Had great food especially a tasting menu organized by Sonia. Would highly recommend this trip.

Our tour leader had amazing energy and enthusiasm, Sonia was a breath of fresh air. She bought to life the area, I learned a lot. The local guides were also very good particularly in Matera, Emma I think was her name. I would have liked an extra day here.

A fantastic trip! The itinerary was fascinating giving some great insight into local life. The hotels were comfortable and our tour guide was friendly and knowledgable. Two things to note: First, it’s really important to read the itinerary before booking and be sure you can do the hikes, as two people in our group couldn’t. I don’t think it spoiled their holiday but it did mean they didn’t get the most out of it. Second, if you arrive in the middle of the day on a Sunday, NOWHERE is open, so bring a packed lunch!

Tour leader Sonja, was great, informative, attentive, included whole group and was fun. Interesting places to stay, enjoyed Matera but really liked Alberobello, would liked to have stayed here an extra night.
