Barcelona Natural landmarks sightseeing Trips

My recent trip to S/P was overall very enjoyable, with a excellent itinerary and a wealth of history brought to life by our travel director ***********. Unfortunately, I did fall ill during the tour, but he handled the situation with professionalism and genuine compassion, ensuring I received medications and felt cared for throughout. His deep knowledge, warm personality, and clear passion for his job truly elevated the experience!!!!!! I was also fortunate to meet some wonderful friends on this journey. As a solo traveler, their warmth and companionship made me feel included and turned the journey into something even more special. I would like to recognize our bus driver Joao. His skill, professionalism, and calm presence made travel between cities smooth and safe. Knowing we were in such capable hands gave me peace of mind and allowed me to simply relax and enjoy the journey. Joao and Atakan complemented each other perfectly and should be partnered on every Spain/ Portugal tours. While I enjoyed the itinerary and the historical insights, I was disappointed with the dining arrangements. The set menus at each dinner venue felt restrictive and did not allow us to truly experience the unique food and wines of each city. Exploring local cuisine is an essential part of immersing oneself in the culture, and I believe this aspect should be reconsidered.

Very informative , extremely well planned and executed by our Tour Director Atakan. We learned a lot regarding the History of Spain and Portugal. Atakan was very generous with sharing his vast knowledge of all the places we visited. The culture and great scenery we saw was amazing. Our very capable bus driver Joao was very energetic and efficient and extremely friendly. These two individuals made a nice trip feel like a great trip. They are true professionals.

Ton's of information, lot's of walking but definitely worth every step! At times you feel a little rushed only because you want to see more before you move onto the next adventure! People, food, wine, sangria, laughter, new friends all worth the trip ... the landscape's, castle's, historical places are amazing.

A great trip. Very tiring as you are on the go everyday. Most if the Hotels were great except for the one in Granada. Definitely not an option. The driver and Tour Director were great and the TD was informative. Service in Spain was at times not great. At time certain waiters are rude and dismissive. Overall a great tour and a trip worth repeating with Trafalgar. Thank You, From the Moodley Family

It would have been better to have the hotel in La Valla. We were in a very small town with very limited and expensive restaurants around. The surrounding were beautiful but being in a bigger town would have been wonderful in the evenings. The hikes were hard, but manageable. The scenery was stunning. Altogether it was a pleasant and beautiful week in the mountains that I would recommend to every nature lover.

Was a FANTASTIC trip, got to see a lot of places and meet some really great people. There were a lot of churches that we saw and each one was fantastic, but it got to the point where they all started to look the same. There were other things that I think would have been great to see, instead of all the churches, i.e. inside a bull ring, the "City of Arts and Sciences", to just name two. Also, the trip was classified as "balanced" but it was a VERY fast pace. If you do all of the optional excursions/dinners, you really didn't have much down time at all. You were rushed when you got to the hotel to freshen up for dinner/evening excursion (which were all great), got back at night and then had to have luggage outside your room for 7 am, and back on the bus for around 8 or 8:30. I had expected a little more of a "relaxed" pace, but now that I know this is what it is, I can be better prepared for the next tour that I do. I still highly recommend Trafalgar Tours and this trip in particular, you just need to know more of what to expect.
