Hakim, our driver, was fantastic—his expert knowledge of the area, combined with his smooth driving, made the long hours in the van enjoyable and relaxing. The highlight of the tour, without a doubt, was the time spent in the Sahara Desert. After an adventurous camel ride through the Erg Chebbi dunes at sunset, I arrived at a luxury desert camp where we enjoyed traditional Berber music around the campfire under the starry desert sky. The feeling of being so far from everything, surrounded by the vastness of the desert, was truly magical. On the final day, we made our way to Fez, passing through charming Berber villages and the Middle Atlas Mountains. We even stopped to see the monkeys in the cedar forests.
