Andres Christian’s was an excellent tour leader. You can tell that you truly loves Colombia and enjoys sharing that with everyone. Some accommodations were better than others. Hotel in Medellin was fabulous but the hotel in Palomino did not offer hot water. This was unfortunately as we stayed there 2 evenings total. It would be great if Explore offered different hotel packages.

Fabulous trip, tweaked perfectly by Donal, who knows the area like the back of his hand. The accommodation was great, and having the trip be center based in the one convenient hotel was excellent. In early June, the wildflowers were in profusion, an added bonus to incredible mountain scenery. Uphill parts of walk manageable given a lot of tge mileawas contouring. Highly recommended!

The hotels were amazing but the trip was so full on there was no time to appreciate them. Also 18 Wats in 3 days was too much. Tour Guide very knowledgeable and fun. Excellent trip. New Zealand was a wonderful country to visit. It has a casual laid back vibe which was ideal for an intense touring holiday. There is plenty to see and do. We were a small group so it gave us the time and opportunity to see more sites than featured in the itinerary. Cities, towns, places of interest and geographic sites were all covered. There was plenty of walking involved to counteract some of the longer journeys. Our guide/driver, Thiago was exceptional with an excellent local knowledge that added interest and variety to the trip’s itinerary. Changes were made to adapt to the everchanging weather conditions to ensure we had the best experiences. He was always patient and professional. All the hotels were of a good standard with comfortable beds and working bathrooms! Most of the hotel rooms in New Zealand had some level of catering facility in each room, as well as the usual tea and coffee making facilities. If I had to pick favourite places it would be the stay at Lake Wanaka and the walk and views around Mount Cook. I would thoroughly recommend this trip.

It was a great cycling trip in Portugal with Explore: beautiful routes along the ocean, on bike paths, through picturesque villages and interesting forests. Our leader David and driver Paulo were supportive and helpful. Our hotels were very comfortable and included lots of choices for breakfast.
