Paradise!

From start to finish working with Olman was an absolute pleasure. His extensive knowledge of Costa Rica coupled with his lovely demeanor and exquisite attention to detail all aided in us having an incredible trip. And then he provided lovely accommodation options and day trip options. After we confirmed our choices he arranged everything and all we had to do was just show up. What a joy! We fell in love with beautiful Costa Rica and miss it already!

Fabolous trip thanks to Olman

The trip Olman planned way exceeded our expectations and he went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and requirements. Every single trip and transfer went smoothly, every hotel fitted our needs exactly and he planned a fun and fascinating variety of trips for our family. I can't recommend Olman enough if you're planning a trip to Costa Rica. We'd approached several other travel agents and they didn't seem to have the in-depth local knowledge or flexibility required to put together a trip that suited our needs, wants, and budgetary requirements so well. What a fabulous trip, lifelong memories were made!

Great two weeks in Costa Rica

We had a great couple of weeks in Costa Rica, all planned through the team. Yuliana did a great job planning the trip for us, input on what to see and things we were interested in doing. We traveled from Liberia to Monteverde by private transportation and a knowledgeable guide that explained points of interest during the 3-hour drive. Highlights were the zip lines, planned tours and hikes to beautiful waterfalls. Tour guides were friendly and knowledgeable which made the trip that must more enjoyable. We learned a lot about the country, regions, culture, parks, and animals. All in all, it was a great trip, saw and did lots of things and had the right amount of downtime. Would do it again.

Thanks team!

I wanted to start by saying thank you so much for such a thorough, comprehensive plan for our stay in your lovely country. From the start of working with you, I felt as though everything was covered. Your itinerary to us was easy to read, easy to share, and filled with enough information to get us excited about the visit. Then, the pacing of the entire trip seemed to be a perfect fit for my family. I already foresee us returning to experience Costa Rica again, based solely on the trip you crafted for us. We are quite grateful.

The trip really packed in some iconic elements of Costa Rica, and lived up to its name in terms of seeing the highlights. It was great to experience the contrast of the Caribbean lowlands, rain forest and the pacific coast. And seeing the abundance of wildlife was incredible, as well as the delicious local dishes and wonderful people we me along the way. The guide was great, really personable and had good knowledge and a keen sense to show us as much as possible, often stopping en route when he had spied interesting animals from the van. The Manuel Antonio and the La Fortuna accommodation was great. The Authentico hotel was fine for passing through but we had paid for an additional night in San Jose, and for this purpose the hotel wasn’t in the best of locations as it was on the edge of the city with not much around in terms of restaurants so we felt a bit stuck in the hotel at the end.

Loved every minute of the trip. Saw lots of amazing animals and experienced diverse regions of Costa Rica. The tour guide was very efficient and looked after everyone really well

Manuel Antonio National Park - Tour Highlights and Travel Tips

Tour Highlights

  • The national park itself consists of rainforests, beaches, and beautiful coral reefs. Mostly undeveloped land except for around the city and coastline, you can find many wild animals including some wild squirrel monkeys, capuchin monkeys, iguanas, red eyed green tree frogs and many more.
  • Of course, the beach is the most famous place to see in Manual Antonio, it’s just as beautiful underwater. You can join tour groups heading out into the waters for snorkeling and diving, or, if you want to go further out and see if you can catch anything, there are plenty of fishing groups that you can join.
  • While Costa Rica is known for having ziplines all around the jungle, in Manuel Antonio, you can zipline from one after the other taking you deep into the forest. The largest zip lines in the forest have 16 zips in a row.

Travel Tips

  • When entering the park, you are not allowed to bring food as it will attract unwanted wildlife. Additionally, the monkeys may often jump at you if they see food. The rangers will search your bags prior to you entering the park.
  • Petty theft is known to happen by racoons and monkeys. So make sure to keep an eye on your belongings.
  • Taking the bus here is the cheapest option comapred to driving yourself. The parking alone often costs more than the bus, so why not skip the hassle of having to drive?
