England and Italy Tours and Trips

It was great to travel all the way around the island. There was a variety of experiences and the there were three two night stays which meant you didn’t have to pack up every day. The last stay in Taormina was the best, or the icing on the cake! Would definitely recommend this tour!

A fantastic week exploring the Baroque region of Sicily. Great group, absolutely top notch guide Davide who imparted his extensive knowledge of Sicily in an entertaining way. Very scenic route, good stops for swimming and sight seeing, lovely restaurants and bars. Davide was well supported by Sepi the driver/mechanic

We were able to see as much as possible in these areas without changing hotels each day. Initially I thought the extra choices should have just been added in but in hindsight this choice allowed each participant to choose to do the extra tour or pursue their own interest in the area. Choice of hotels was varied and well chosen. Food was regional. Tour Director was very knowledgable, attentive to any needs/wants without being intrusive.

Amazing!! Saw so much in just one week, Though it was a very full itinerary, it never felt overwhelming or stressful. There were also some great optional activities that costed extra, but all the ones we chose were absolutely worth it! Our guide was excellent and incredibly organized. I recommend this trip 100%!

Have been on 5 Exodus trips and this was by far the best of the best. Sicily itself is utterly breathtaking, wonderful scenery, great group of people to cycle with and our guide Davide was the best tour guide I have had the good fortune to meet. He was really knowledgeable, funny, supportive to everyone who were at all different levels of cycling ability and treated us all as individuals. The routes he took us had some of the best views ever and every day was totally different. He picked out wonderful restaurant choices and stayed with us until the bitter end. On the penultimate day I was looking to the left coming down a steep hill instead of keeping my eye on the road and fell off my bike (I really am the clumsiest person alive). I injured my arm and Davide quickly came to the rescue and ensured that my safety was paramount. He went over and above, even offering to drive me to restaurants in the evening to ensure I didn't miss out, he is one in a million and made our holiday really special (it was our 33rd wedding anniversary and my husband's birthday). If Davide is still there next year we will return as we both fell in love with Sicily's charm, architecture, coastline and of course the wonderful cuisine. If I could give this trip 10 stars, I would. Also a huge shout out to the lovely driver Sebi/Sepi not sure which, who kindly ferried me around in his van after my accident and really looked after me.

It was a fun filled, jam packed week. I found Rome to be crowded and the excursions were a surprise add on, as you had to pay for all the tours with the local specialist. I was not impressed with who did the Piazzas and Fountains Tour. The Roman dinner was excellent. I loved the drive to Florence though the Tuscan hills and the lunch at the Palace. Florence was beautiful and would have loved to spend more time there. our local specialist was amazing and very knowledgable was very disappointed in the Gold and Leather tours that we were forced to take. I found them to be a complete waste of time. I would have much better liked to spend what little time we had in Florence exploring instead of being stuck in stores. The Tuscan dinner was delicious and fun. Venice was amazing. We loved exploring and getting lost in the quiet residential alleys. Again, the Murano glass tour was a waste of time. The Gondola ride was okay, it was everyone in our tour following each other down a designated route, not very spontaneous. The water taxi ride down the Grand Canal was beautiful at dusk. On to beautiful Switzerland. We got caught in a mountain downpour at our lunch break. It was only cloudy when we pulled into our stop, so I left my umbrella on the bus. I would have been nice if there would have been some extra umbrellas on the bus for us to temporarily use to get back to the bus. Just a thought. Lucerne was beautiful and the temperature was a lot cooler than it was in Italy. The views from the top of the mountain were spectacular. I loved hearing all the cow bells. Again, I wish that we had more time here. Paris blew my mind; it is such a beautiful city. our local specialist was excellent. Seeing the Eiffel tower for the first time on the horizon was amazing and then up close was great. , our tour Director was great. , our driver was absolutely the best. He was an excellent driver, and I felt very safe, even going down the tiny back roads in Tuscany.
