Julio was an excellent guide- the best I have experienced. His knowledge, enthusiasm and lovely sense of humour helped to make the trip unforgettable. Highlights included staying at a home stay on Lake Titicaca, condor viewing, seeing Humboldt penguins, trekking over the Dead Woman’s Pass and seeing Machu Picchu.

Inkaterra Hacienda Concepcion is a lovely jungle camp. Fabulous cabanas and wonderful food. Nature excursions were educational. NB This was not an Explore tour but a stand-alone extension to an Explore tour.

Great trip, beautiful country, friendly people and good food. So glad i did the hike and camping - the latter is not something i was particularly looking for to but actually really enjoyed it (despite the cold).

This trip included the highlights of Peru: Lake Titicaca and Machu Picchu. You get plenty of time at both locations. The other locations are interesting and you get to see the real Peru, not just the tourist trail.

Amazing trip to Peru - definitely exceeded my expectations! The itinerary covered a wide variety, with the optional tours and suggestions from Darwin, our tour guide, to fill any spare time we had. The hotels were varied (did have a couple of cold showers) but I loved the quirkiness of some of them and all were comfortable. Darwin was superb: looking after us while we adjusted to the altitude, managing to get us into Machu Picchu (no mean feat) despite the protests, answering all our questions due to his extensive knowledge of his country and it's history and always being so cheerful! And a lovely group of people to holiday with - thank you all!

This was an epic trip from start to finish. The guides Erickson and Emile were outstanding and so attentive to everyone’s individual needs. The hotels were way beyond my expectations. The porters, the views, the amazing group of people on the trip. I will never forget this experience.
