Fantastic trip, covered all the areas I was interested in. The organisation of Mohammed ( tour guide) made everything go superbly. The consideration of the heat, timing, advice, expert knowledge and great sense of humour just put the icing on the cake. The accommodation and food were good too. I've travelled with Explore before and will again, highly recommend 👌 👍

Sleeper train was an experience! It was basic but fun but working lights and a cupboard door that shut would have been nice! No reflection on Explore, it is what it is.

This was our first group tour experience as we've been independent travellers for many years. The itinerary was excellent with each site an absolute marvel to behold. The group size of 11 was great, the organization and ground transportation was also great. Our guide Mohamed was exceptional and could easily pivot plans to optimize our experience each day. He is an expert in Egyptian history and archaeology. He was also extremely hospitable and a great ambassador for his home country.

We have thoroughly enjoyed our time in Egypt - thanks to our lovely tour guide Adel who was the best, and our amazing group gelling so well together. It’s a very well put together trip including all the major cultural attractions that you would want to visit and we learned so much due to Adel’s expertise and knowledge. For British groups I think the addition of the Cataract Hotel would enhance the experience - we loved it there. And possibly the home of Howard Carter which we did during time we added at the end. From the moment we landed in Cairo, the travel team made us feel like royalty. We were welcomed with VIP airport assistance, and every step of the journey was flawlessly organized. Our guide, Ahmed, was a knowledgeable passionate, engaging, and incredibly knowledgeable. The highlight? Sailing the Nile on a beautiful 5-star cruise the crew was attentive, the food exceeded our expectations (even for a picky eater like me!), and the cabins were immaculate with panoramic Nile views. The visit to Abu Simbel was surreal. Thanks to our guide, we learned stories that brought ancient Egypt alive. Transportation was smooth and safe special thanks to our driver, Mahmoud, who was always punctual and courteous. If you're dreaming of Egypt and want it done right, highly recommended
