Our guide, Ahmed, was a knowledgeable passionate, engaging, and incredibly knowledgeable. The highlight? Sailing the Nile on a beautiful 5-star cruise the crew was attentive, the food exceeded our expectations (even for a picky eater like me!), and the cabins were immaculate with panoramic Nile views. The visit to Abu Simbel was surreal. Thanks to our guide, we learned stories that brought ancient Egypt alive. Great trip with lots to see and do and your guide done well to avoid the crowds in the places visited. Only downside was lost of early mornings throughout the trip!
