Apart from travelling, spending time in nature and finding quiet moments in the jungle, I also love to read. Protecting the natural world that I love is also very important to me and environmental conservation is a priority in my travel planning and execution model. Since 2011, I have been planning safaris for all kinds of travelers to Uganda, Rwanda, DR Congo, Kenya and Tanzania, which has given me in-depth experience planning day by day and case by case, learning from the needs of different clients. I like paying attention to the details of my clients’ needs, which helps me go above and beyond their expectations. In return, I have satisfied customers!

I got into guiding in Rwandan jungles because it was my passion; I was born and raised at my parents’ home in a place near Akagera National Park, one of Rwanda’s national parks. I always saw guides and tourists passing by and it attracted my ambitions. After finishing high school, I trained to be a guide in that national park, and soon after I was hired. I started guiding in 2004 for other tour operators. As a guide, I met a lot of people from all over the world and it made me happy. I gained a lot of skills and knowledge during the process. I still use my learnings today, so that I can meet the expectations of the tourists. In 2008, I decided to pursue a bachelor's degree in Travel and Tourism Management. After graduation, I set up an eco-travel and tourism company, of which I have been the managing director from 2012 until now. When I am not guiding, I like to travel, read books about travel and tourism, and listen to music.

It was a great trip. My only critique is that there was some petty items especially tipping and having to purchase the final lunch. We all found this to be petty. If tips were included it would be easier. Very minor issue, great trip!
