Great trip. Our Tour Leader, Yousra, was very knowledgeable when we visited the various locations, especially in the museums and archaeological sites. Also our driver, Ayoub, was a safe and competent driver. Hotels and food were both good with no complaints.

This trip is a great overview of Tunisia. I would describe the trip as “full on” as you are pretty much on the go for the entire trip, seeing some fantastic sights and having some wonderful experiences.

An excellent trip and itinerary with visits to incredible archaeological sites. Our guide, Yousra, was extremely professional and very friendly, going out of her way to ensure we had a great trip. Our driver was wonderful, friendly, calm and capable.

Great trip fairly full on and covered a lot of ground. Some fantastic archaeological sites and plenty of time to explore and appreciate them. Transport was safe and comfortable and good hotels throughout- the camping was great for star gazing. Only downside was arriving late to hotels meaning there was no down time to relax and enjoy the hotel facilities. .

I loved my Tunisian adventure. The itinerary was well thought out and we managed to cram a massive amount into a relatively short time. I really enjoyed scrambling around Roman and Carthaginian ruins, visiting beautiful medinas and exploring Berber villages. Some of the hotels were a little dated and had a distinct lack of power points, but the rooms were clean, the beds comfy and the water hot. The coach was roomy, the food good and our guides (we had a trainee along for the ride) very knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend this trip

Optional Star Wars trip driving over vertiginous dunes to Mos Eisley and then to Skywalker ranch entrance across damp salt flats. Amazing. Worth the £50. Packed a lightsabre!! Unforgettable. Drive across Chott El Jerid salt flats, otherworldly. Tamezret Amazigh village visit and seeing the cave dwellings in Matamata interesting and would have liked more. Disappointed that the overnight stay in a cave hotel has been dropped On route additions : Visit to Hotel Sidi Idriss , used in Star Wars filming , pink flamingos , War Cemeteries and lunch at Tour Leader's home and meeting Mum And Dad. Thank you Mohamed's Mum!! Legend! Sufficient elements to make a moderate pace 14 day tour, rather than 8 full days(two of the 10 days eaten away for flights).Plenty of varied historical sites , Monastir Castle , Dougga , Kairouan , Bardot Museum (wonderful collection) of mosaics and the Sahara desert to explore. Extremely disappointing desert camp, three hour drive in cramped 4 x 4 to a camp shared with a large group of raucous French students, meal (4 course) inappropriate, boring and bland. This should have been a main highlight of the tour! Was not peaceful ,stargazing Saharan night! Included meals (3 course European style)would be better dropped as all were in areas where there were a choice of eateries ,and cuisine, within walking distance. Hotels lacked homey feel as all largish ,tourist style. All beds huge and too soft (I only use 18 inches!) Breakfasts European style (Danone yoghurts, none locally produced) with some more local additions(Dates ,Sorghum porridge ,halva,) Price of these more upmarket hotel paid for but arrived too late to use swimming pools(some had spas, saunas and gyms) .Tozeur hotel full of noisy ,large ,student group ,breakfast poor and coffee only instant type. Visit to Dougga better to be placed earlier to remove geographical dog leg and time thereof. This should be a 5 star tour but needs itinerary adjustment
