Reviews of our Poland Tours for Spring
Feedback from guests who toured Poland during Spring.
It was very busy -- but we did get to see a lot. Everything was as promised. In fact, some experiences exceeded our expectations. We didn't expect to do all of the optional tours, but we did and they were all excellent. The local guides were great; our tour guide was excellent.
We loved everywhere we went. The weather about half-way through the trip turned ugly but we still loved it. Some of the walking tours may be a bit too long - especially if you have older travelers. Loved Auschwitz, even though I wasn't sure I wanted to go there...really very touching and I'm glad I went. in Gdansk was fabulous!
I have traveled to over 70 countries. This tour was exceptional. Well organized and executed. Poland has numerous hidden gems that I was not aware of. The towns, scenery and food were fabulous. I am recommending this trip all my friends and relatives.
The itinerary is amazing. Along with beautiful scenery and great food, you get an in depth look at the strength and endurance of the Polish people throughout history. Our tour guide, and all the local guides he lined up made the trip wonderful and unforgettable. Historical sites like where WW II began, the Solidarity Museum, Auschwitz are important reminders of a tragic past. Incredible cathedrals point to the hope of freedom that the Polish people hung onto. Polka Parties, bonfire dinner - there was no shortage of culturally enriching experiences.
Attention to detail was fantastic. Ran everything on time. Better than I could have hoped for. The guides knowledge was unbelievable and really added to the experience.. Great food. Well chosen accommodations. No disappointments.
Great itinerary, fantastic tour guide and local guides, comfortable bus, great seats on the train! One area I would love to see included was the Salt Mines outside of Krakow...they were highly recommended but not included in the tour. Some city walks during the day (especially Praque) were very long and no time to take a break...a little more down time would be nice!
