Holland 6-Day Tours and Trips

Rated Easy Pace. It was a busy trip and a lot more walking than some travellers expected. I enjoyed it very much., but some people could not complete entire walks.

Brugges are good place. Rigk Museum is good. Dutch master are the best. Love the clogs and cheese.

The itinerary is good. The hotels not for the most part. It used to be we paid a premium with Insight to have hotels in the center of the city. These were not. And their choice was quite poor. Not what I paid for. Trafalgar had some of the same hotels and their price is quite lower. I was disappointed with the hotels situations. The tour director and the driver were fabulous, which saved the trip for us. However, we will look at other companies when comes time to do England, Whale, Scotland and Ireland. As well, we had other travellers who had done a lot of trips with Insights and were also very disappointed with the hotels. They have noticed the "quality" had gone way down. Thanks.

I think I would probably have skipped Luxembourg and liked to spend more time in Rotterdam or other parts of Netherlands

This tour takes you through smaller towns with historic significance. I enjoyed learning about WWII from the Allied perspective, seeing US cemeteries and the continued support from our Europe allies. The Tour Director and the local guides provided an incredible amount of historical details. The drive to the different countries and towns was pleasant as all three countries are small and close together. Overall, a good tour.

We did the self-guided bike and barge trip from Amsterdam to Bruges. We loved everything about this trip - the atmosphere of the barge itself, getting to know other passengers, connecting with other self-guided passengers, the incredible bike routes and paths that kept us away from cars for much of the cycling. All in all an incredible experience.
