The 2 day trip on the rocky mountaineer train is first class including the hotels selected for overnight between the 2 days on train. The motor coach tours of the 5 parks plus Dead Horse State Park were great. Enough time at each park to enjoy their beauty. The provided meals by Collette were excellent and the tour director was very friendly and knowledgeable.
I loved the train ride to Moab and stopping in Glenwood Springs with staying at the historic Colorado Hotel. I upgraded to the Silver Leaf Plus(extra $600 cost) and enjoyed the better food, beverages, less people in the car etc. Heather was a great tour guide and very organized which I liked. She also told us lots of details and history about all our parks and things on our bus drive. The one thing I didn't like was only staying one night at some of the hotels. Being not able take your clothes out, or toiletries etc. was inconvenient.
Excellent choice for seeing amazing natural landscapes and our national parks! Plus, the train ride and our tour director were magnificent!
Tour was excellent, well organized and first class treatment everywhere we went. Director was personable, knowledgeable and very helpful. This was overall one of the best tours I have been on and the Rocky Mountaineer train started everything off on the right foot.
