day 1 - Arusha - Tarangire National Park

We will pick you up from a pre-determined location in Arusha and drive you to Tarangire National Park. Have your picnic lunch while enjoying a game drive in the national park, which covers an area of 2,600 square kilometer and was established in 1970.

This national park has numerous baobab trees that catch the attention of any visitors. The Tarangire River, from whom the national park derives its name, lures herds of wildebeests, zebras, and elands as well as elephants, buffalos and fringe-eared oryxes a\s well as carnivores that follow the herds.

day 2 - Tarangire National Park - Serengeti National Park

Head for Serengeti National Park after breakfast. Visit the site of Olduvai Gorge, which is considered the cradle of mankind. it was here that Dr Leakey discovered the remains of the early man. Visit the site as well as the small museum nearby before proceeding to Serengeti.

Go out on an afternoon game drive on the endless plains of the Serengeti after lunch. See herds of wildebeests, zebras and gazelles. You might even bump into a pride of lions lounging in the shade if you are lucky.

day 3 - Serengeti National Park

Wake up early in the. morning to make the most of this day. Our guides will choose the best spotting locations depending upon the season. You can spend time watching hippos lazing about in pools of water, see herds of herbivores running all around or might even come across lions in a prowl.

Travel from the wide open plains to the kopjes - rocky, volcanic outcrops that provide protection and shelter to a variety of wild animals. Enjoy a panoramic view of the national park from atop a kopje.

day 4 - Serengeti - Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Enjoy an early morning game drive in the Seronera area. Then return to your accommodation for breakfast and leave the park with a lunchbox. Head for the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater.

Today's journey witll take you past a Maasai boma where you will get chance to interact with the Maasai people and learn more about their way of life.

day 5 - Ngorongoro Crater game drive & travel to Lake Eyasi

Descend to the crater floor for a game drive after breakfast. The Ngorongoro Crater is the largest collapsed volcanic crater in the world. Surrounded by a ring of extinct volcanoes, the floor is dotted with watering holes and shelters some 30,000 animals of different species.

You can expect to see lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes and birds of different species on the crater floor. Ascend to the rim after the game drive is over and head for Lake Eyasi, home to last remaining population of bushmen in Tanzania.

Spend the remaining part of the day with a local guide visiting a number of make-shift homesteads where the Hadzabe people live. Explore Lake Eyasi and its surrounding areas.

day 6 - Hunting with Hadzabe, Lake Eyasi - Kilimanjaro Airport & departure

Your guide will wake you up in the morning before dawn and take you on a hunting trip with the Hadzabe. Please note that this hunting trip will take outside the protected area. Hunt animals using traditional weapons and learn more about one of the last remaining bushmen in the world.

See a variety of birds in and around the lake. Have your lunch before we drive you to Kilimanjaro Airport for your flight home.
