As first-time visitors to the country, we had a rough idea of what we wanted to do, and Lahiru helped us get the most out of our trip. We wanted to experience as much of the food, culture, history, and wildlife of Sri Lanka as possible, and we ended up staying in seven different places and using a variety of transportation modes including car, train, Tuktuk, and a 4x4 safari jeep. All of the guides at the UNESCO sites spoke fluent English, were highly knowledgeable, and were pleasant company to be with. The hotels were comfortable and in great locations, while the restaurants were always of high quality and had friendly and helpful staff.
