day 1Nairobi – Chogaria Gate (2,950 m)
Our Company representative / Guide will meet you in Nairobi at 6:30am and drive you to Chogoria town for lunch. Hear you will link up with other Crew members. Take a 4x4 drive to the edge of the bamboo forest 2480m. Once you reach there, you will start your trek through dense forests and head to Mount Kenya Chogoria Gate (2,950 m) above sea level. Stay overnight at the Meru Mount Kenya Chogoria Gate camp site inside the national park.
