Holambra City Tour The Flowers City In Sao Paulo

Holambra is considered one of the biggest plants and flowers producers in Latin America, with almost 45% of its national production. In its colorful Architecture and buildings remains a clear and huge influence by the Dutch culture.
Types of flowers we'll see in the fields that we'll visit:
Gérbera Daisies: are flowers grown in greenhouses. They keep colorful all year long, they are bedding plants which have a great diversity of colours forming perfect landscapes and for taking pictures
Marguerite daisies: known as field flowers, but they are also grown in a greenhouse all year round. These bedding plants are more abundant flowers and grow together, giving a feeling of being more flowery.
Anthuriums: these flowers grown in greenhouses, have very attractive flowering bracts, and are planted in pots of very vibrant colors.
We'll also visit these main sites:
Mercado de Flores, Praça van Gogh, Moinho Povos Unidos, Casa dos Pioneiros, Paço Municipal, Igreja Matriz, Deck do Amor e Lago Vitória Régia. During the city tour we'll have a brief introduction about the history of Dutch inmigration.
