Colombia Uncovered

Trip was fantastic, places are beautiful, fun and felt very safe. Such an amazing country and I highly recommend!

Really well organised trip to see a mix of different places from cities to islands to jungle. Our guides Kro and Isa were amazing! Got really involved so felt like they were part of the group, super helpful and knowledgeable, even during free time making sure everyone was safe and found what they wanted. 100% recommend the optional boat trip to see the bioluminescent plankton from the island hostel, absolutely incredible, think this should be included in the tour itinerary. Cartagena was the big highlight, beautiful city with so much culture. Accommodation was a bit mixed as generally really good but the island hostel needs more aircon in the rooms as too hot and humid. Only key build is that I think the trip needs a few more activities within the itinerary, a bit too much free time vs other tours I’ve done.

The trip to colombia was really amazing and a special time I will never forget. And hopefully it was not the last time I have visited this country and its wonderfl people.

Amazing tour that made it super easy to see the diversity that Colombia has to offer. Caro and Isa were some of the best tours leaders I’ve had - always bringing the energy and being super friendly, approachable and organised. Lots of free time also on this tour so great if you want a more chilled experience.

I had the best experience travelling through Colombia with Carolina and Isabella! The tour itinerary was great, a nice balance of activities and relaxation/free time. I felt very safe, the guides gave excellent recommendations in terms of where to go, what to eat, what to do and were always on hand to translate things for us if needed. They always made sure that everyone was having a good time. It was so great travelling with Colombian tour guides to really get an insight into the country - a beautiful country full of colour, good food and friendly people!

While Colombia has a rep for being unsafe, it has climbed the ladder of worthwhile travel destinations for a reason. Not only is it amazing to learn about and see the transformation that the country has gone through within the last 20 years, the diverse landscape is worth traveling for. From growing hubs like Medellin, to rainforest adventures in Minca (amazing jungle rave) and Carribean vibes on isla grande, I enjoyed sunset kayaking, racing through the rainforest on motor taxis and the cute old towns of guatape and Cartagena! Caro was really helpful and lovely.

Colombia Uncovered was an amazing experience! From the start in Medellín learning about the history of this beautiful country, to the Carribean Coast and the Jungle, it was a cool trip with amazing people from all over the world and our fantastic Guide Jóse! He kept us all the time up to date with the plan what is going on, and made sure everyone has the best experience possible in his home country. Thanks for the great time we all had together!

It often felt like the travel specialist cut corners on the itinerary. However, the guide was amazing and made up for it!

The tour was amazing - with lots of variety and ground covered in the 12 days. The highlights for me were the El Rio hostel and Medellin! Jose was a wonderful tour guide full of life and a sense of adventure. He's always happy to answer our questions and put in the effort to make sure everyone's needs are met - even going as for as to alter the trip from requests! Ie Adding Tayrona, moving the party bus so we can go to Cafe Havana. Lovely guy and I would very happily join other tours after this experience!
