Christmas on the Danube featuring a 6-Night Danube River Cruise

We really enjoyed the festive atmosphere on our boat. Since we were touring Christmas Markets it really got us in the mood for the holidays.

My roommate became ill and i returned yo the States w/her. I had some personal health issues which affected my thoroughly enjoying the tour and had to cancel the trip to Prague. It was me that was at odfs w/what was going on. Not the trip itself!! And none of the employees were at fault!! Just me!

WE LOVED THE DANUBE RIVER CRUISE WITH THE PRAGUE EXTENSION AND THE CHRISTMAS MARKETS. OUR TOUR MANAGER MIRNA WAS THE BEST. WE LEARNED NEW THINGS ABOUT THE AREA WE VISITED

Experience was mediocre. I expected more after having traveled with Viking and Uniworld. Service was not top notch. I had to track down water frequently. We even sat down to no silverware, napkins, or water frequently and service was slow. Menu options were lacking. A nice steak offering should have been available nightly. Entertainment was also lacking. More planned evening activities should have been available. Maybe bring local musicians on board…something more contemporary. I don’t understand why we drove hours for our last night only to also be hours away from the airport. It would have been better to stay the night closer to the airport. I’m sure there is a lovely restaurant in or near Franfurt that could have accommodated our group. I did like the boat stops. The towns were lovely. There was one tour that we do that was poorly planned allowing us a limited time at the market due to traffic. And then we had to wait at our meeting point for nearly an hour for bus pick up. We could have used that time at the market. Our room attendant was wonderful. He knew our names, was very friendly, and kept our room clean. Finally, I did appreciate we were guided through the airport on departure. That was very helpful. My most memorable moment was the Schönbrunn Palace market at night. We had to order a ride because a tour was not made through Collett for an evening trip, but it was worth it. Really beautiful at night!

The whole trip was amazing. The cruise ship crew were awesome. The excursions were so much fun and the landscape was beautiful. Enjoyed everything
