Everything was arranged perfectly. I took my wife and my teenager son and arranged for a tour in several cities. The tour guides and drivers were amazing. The drivers were very skillful and the tour guides were quite erudite with good mastering of the English language which was better than expected. This trip changed our thoughts on China. This was our first trip to China, and we would definitely recommend this local travel specialist to anyone planning to go to China. All the hotels were excellent and all provided bottled water. The breakfast buffets offered lots of choices (American and Chinese food). Tour buses were clean, had a/c, and were operated by good drivers. Tour guides had bottled water for us every day. Meals in the restaurants were very good. Lunch with a local family in Xian was the best! Our guides (Cool in Beijing, Celine in Xian and Chris in Shanghai) were very knowledgeable, friendly, and spoke English very well. We enjoyed all the places we visited and had a very memorable trip.

Overall, the tour was very well organized from our initial contact with Linda, our consultant. Linda was flexible and worked with us on our requirements. All the pick-ups, drop-offs and tours were on time. The vehicles were spotless, and the drivers were courteous. Our guides in Beijing, Xi'an and Shanghai were knowledgeable and friendly. Barry, our guide in Beijing needs a special mention, as he was excellent! We would totally recommend booking with the local travel specialist, it was really a fantastic trip.

The local travel expert made our 8-day tour of Beijing-Xian-Shanghai worry-free! From drivers to someone just picking us up at the airport, we felt safe and well-looked after every step of the way. This was the first time our children had been to China so that was extremely important to us. Each tour guide had a unique perspective of their city and its history. We really appreciated John(Beijing) for his honesty, Susan(Xian) for her kindness, and Mulan(Shanghai) for her obliging nature. Mulan accommodated us when wanted to divert from the itinerary and go shopping instead; she not only accompanied us, but bargained with vendors on our behalf.
