Changsha City Break, Private Tour

Upon your arrival to Changsha airport or Changsha railway station (please advise your arrival details in advance in order to arrange the pick-up), you will be met by an English speaking guide who accompanies you to your transfer to the city. The forty minutes private transfer will take you directly to your hotel in Changsha. If you feel tired after the journey, you can relax and make use of all available services at the hotel. But if you are anxious to explore this awesome city, stroll down its charming streets and indulge into its unique vibe. 

Overnight in Changsha.

After breakfast at the hotel, we´ll pick you up at 9:00 at hotel´s lobby and we´ll be heading out for our full-day Orange Isle excursion. Orange Isle is the world’s longest inland river isle and it connects the Mount Yuelu in the west and the downtown of Changsha in the east. Lunch will be provided at the local restaurant and then we´ll continue to Hunan Provincial Museum to learn about the long cultural heritage of the Hunan Province. Once back in the hotel approx. at 17:00, spend the rest of the day at leisure exploring this charming city on your own.

Wake up to your breakfast at the hotel and enjoy the full day at leisure at this delightful city. Enjoy the ancient atmosphere of this age-old city and explore the unique history of all Chinese dynasties. Alternatively, you can book one of our optional tours:

Optional Tour A: Hunan First Normal College and Yuelu Academy full-day tour
Take our full-day tour and learn about the educational heritage in Hunan province. Visit the Hunan First Normal College and walk between the walls where Mao Zedong lived, studied and worked. After the lunch continue to Yuelu Mountain and Yuelu Academy and absorb the atmosphere where the famous scholars and great thinkers were giving lectures to their students. Tour ends approx. at 17:00.

Optional Tour B: Shaoshan full-day excursion
Visit Shaoshan, a ''red tourism'' site and a revolutionary holy place, and discover more about the youth of the Chairman Mao Zedong. Visit his house and walk between the walls that are still hiding his big revolutionary thoughts and ideas. Tour ends back in Changsha approx. at 17:00.

Optional Tour C: Yueyang full-day excursion
Drive with us to the south of the Yangtze River and discover the rich history of Yueyang, located on the shore of the awe-inspiring Donting Lake. Visit the icon of the city, Yueyang Tower and Bianhe Street, built in ancient-style pavilions. Enjoy the walk around bamboos, old bridges, temple and gardens and explore the ancient heritage of this charming town.

Overnight in Changsha.

After breakfast at the hotel, check-out from the hotel and at the agreed time you will be picked up by the guide at the hotel reception and together with the driver they will take you to the Changsha airport or Changsha railway station to go to your onwards destinations.
