Our trip manager did great job trying to salvage this trip for us but it seemed to us the itinerary was flawed from the start. The time on the bus was long and uneventful many times. We were left to eat at supermarket deli counters few times having to set on a curb to eat. More options and planing needed for these stops. We arrived at our hotels late most days leaving little time to freshen up and get a good meal on the local economy. Just to much distance to cover in to short of time frame. Not as well planed as our other Trafalger experiences
The motel in Eureka was a disappointment. A nicer place would be better. Everything else was great! *personal info removed by Feefo* did an awesome job! They took great care of us the whole trip!
Too much riding in the bus Not enough meals, once we got to a town r had to look for places to eat Also seemed like we were always rushing. Had to buy lunch three times in 5 days at a supermarket.
Too much time sitting on a bus. The Creamery should be skipped. The Vineyard tour with lunch was excellent. Needed information about the small towns we passed through. The Portland Rose Garden was great. The Dossier hotel in Portland was poor - location, service and food. Downtown Portland felt dangerous to walk around. The visit to Mt. St Helen's visitor center was a bust. It really was just a bathroom stop. We were not told that tickets to the visitor center had already been purchased so many people did not go in. We should have driven to see the real effect of the eruption. The dinner cruise in Portland was good. This was my fifth Trafalgar tour and it did not stand up to the standards of the other four trips.
Need to add space needle and Chihuly gardens as included or an optional. Needed more time at pikes Peak market. Need to add transfers to and from airport back.
The itinerary was fine. The accommodations in Eureka were not at all up to the standards we expected and experienced the rest of the trip. If that’s the best Trafalgar can do in that location, you should consider overnighting somewhere else.
Our tour guide was very informative and took good care of our group. The scenery was great. Hotels and meals were very good.
The sites were really great! Did not care for the downtown hotels as ended up spending too much time sitting in traffic. Had the same foods for breakfast every day. 2 days were really long days on the road. Tour director said he was going to send us a group picture but never did. Really would have liked to have one of those.
