7 Days Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Naivasha & Amboseli

Drive in from Nairobi in the morning through the dramatic Great Rift Valley with a stopover at the view point and Narok town for lunch. Maasai Mara reserve is actually part of the vast Serengeti plains famously known for its spectacular great Wildebeest’s migration and is home to the Big Five: Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo and Rhino. On arrival, you will enjoy an evening game drive.

A full day is spent in Maasai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives. This game will be in search for great predators and perhaps even cubs. On the plains are enormous herds of grazing animals plus the elusive Cheetah and Leopard hiding amidst Acacia boughs.

You will enjoy a pre-breakfast game drive in the morning before departing to Lake Nakuru National park which is in the Great Rift Valley. Picnic or Lunch enroute. On arrival, you will enjoy evening game drive.

After breakfast, you will depart to Lake Naivasha where we will arrive in time for lunch at our accommodation. We take an optional boat ride. Alternatively, a nature walk at Crescent Island is an excellent way to see wild animals while on foot. The Island is a private game sanctuary, which is home to Zebras, Wildebeests, Gazelles, Vervet Monkeys, Hares, Genet Cats, Waterbucks and Giraffes.

Depart in the morning after breakfast passing through the scenic Athi Plains and into the bush country of Amboseli National Park, home to the legendary Maasai tribesmen and famous for huge herds of Elephants. Lunch on arrival followed by evening game drive. In addition to Antelopes, Zebras, Wildebeests, Buffaloes and the rare and elusive Leopard, nearly every vista within the park is framed by the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro in the distance.

Rising early for good views of Mount Kilimanjaro before clouds build up over the summit, we set off for another stimulating game drive in search of the herds of Jumbo Elephants, Wildebeest, Giraffes and Baboons. An optional visit to a Maasai village is planned after breakfast. Maasai warriors are famously known as the proud nomadic tribe whose legendary prowess in battle and single-handed acts of bravery in fights with wild animals are known across the world.

Midday finds us at our camp for lunch and afternoon rest, followed by another extensive game drive in the evening.
