Journey through Kenya’s most celebrated wildlife havens on this 7-day safari adventure. Begin at Amboseli National Park, with unbeatable views of Mount Kilimanjaro and herds of elephants. Continue to the bird-rich lakes of Naivasha and Nakuru, and then to the Maasai Mara, famed for its lions, vast herds, and sweeping savannahs. Designed for both first-time and seasoned safari-goers, this trip blends diverse landscapes with abundant wildlife sightings, including over 500 bird species. day 1 - Nairobi to Amboseli National Park

Day 1: Nairobi to Amboseli

We depart Nairobi in the morning and drive south through Maasai country to the plains below Mt. Kilimanjaro where Amboseli is situated.

After a picnic lunch en route we enjoy an afternoon game drive in the park before setting up camp in preparation for the evening.

With the majestic backdrop of Mt. Kilimanjaro, spectacular displays of wildlife – lion, elephant, leopard, rhino, cheetah, buffalo and various plains game, postcard perfect pictures are almost always guaranteed.

day 2 - Amboseli national park

We spend time enjoying the views at Amboseli through early morning and afternoon game drives.

The waters from Mt. Kilimanjaro drain under lava flows and surface in Amboseli, creating a green belt of swampland amidst dusty plains.

Amboseli is a small park and lacks the profusion of animal species found in the Mara, but the landscape provides limited cover so we have better chances of seeing some of the larger predators. Buffaloes, lions, gazelles, cheetahs, wildebeest, hyenas, jackals, warthogs, Maasai giraffes, zebra, baboon, and waterbuck are all present in the park.

day 3 - Amboseli National Park to Lake Naivasha

After an early breakfast, we depart Amboseli viewing game en route as we proceed back towards Nairobi and further down the escarpment.

Lake Naivasha National Park is situated on the floor of the Great Rift valley. En route we enjoy a picnic lunch, arriving in the late afternoon, you will have time for a boat ride to watch the Hippopotami.

day 4 - Lake Naivasha to Maasai Mara Game Reserve

After an early breakfast, we drive via Narok town to Maasai Mara National reserve, the land of the Maasai tribe. The proud young Maasai warrior-nomads with their plaited hair, red cloaks, and spears, challenge your curiosity.

The 700-square-mile Game Reserve is the Africa of your dreams, complete with wild animals grazing amid the superb rolling landscape of gentle hills and acacia woodlands.

Check in to your camp, and we will have lunch at around 12.30pm in the campsite. There will be time to settle in before your first game drive. Afternoon game drives in the reserve. Return to the lodge before dark.

day 5 - Maasai Mara Game Reserve

6.00am - Wake up call. Tea, coffee and cookies will be served in the lodge.

6.30am - Set out for an early morning game drive in the reserve. This is usually the most popular game viewing time. During the early hours temperatures are low, thus providing a favorable atmosphere both for the game and the viewer.

Lion, Cheetah and Leopard roam the vast grasslands in search for their next meal. It may be an unsuspecting impala or even a smaller animal like the warthog- Whatever the players, the spectacle of nature unfolding is always awe inspiring!

8.30am - Back at the lodge to enjoy your sumptuous breakfast

9.00am - Full day game drive

Dinner and overnight at lodge.

day 6 - Maasai Mara to Lake Nakuru

6.00am - Early breakfast then out for morning game drive when getting out of the park. You will get to lake Nakuru in the afternoon.

We will go for a game drive to see flamingoes among the millions of other birds in this birdwatcher's paradise.

Overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge.

day 7 - Lake Nakuru National Park to Nairobi

Early morning breakfast and we'll start our journey to Nairobi to be dropped at the hotel or the airport.
