About Esther

I was born and grew up in Kenya, and since childhood, I have loved travelling and experiencing the beauty of nature. I have a diploma in Business Administration from the Kabete Institute of Science and Technology, although I developed a passion for tourism later—after completing my studies. My original motivation for traveling was curiosity. I was aware of a whole world that existed outside of my bubble, and I was itching to discover it, explore, and experience a change of atmosphere and reinvigorate my thinking. Once I broke free from my comfort zone, the adventure and exhilaration of experiencing something new became addictive. It didn’t take me long to realize I wanted to see the world in living color as opposed to watching it on a television screen. I wanted to actually feel, taste, and experience the world instead of settling for the version I was reading about in books. I love that travel challenges my perspective and renews my spirit. Privately, I enjoy an active life with children living with disabilities and mentoring the parents and caregivers.

I specialize in Kenya and Tanzania trips, particularly wildlife safari adventures, gorilla trekking, or mountain hikes from Nairobi, Arusha, Entebbe, Kigali. I also specialize in the beach resorts of Mombasa, Diani, Kilifi, Watamu, Malindi, and Zanzibar. I know how to design and offer a safari package that is affordable and can be tailored to suit your budget while still providing the African adventure of a lifetime. I also have expertise designing custom tours for particular needs or groups, such as safaris for singles and/or couples, safaris for families with young children, short small-group tours, and more.

Esther's Best Travel Experience

I have visited all the national parks in Kenya and Tanzania, but I love the Serengeti because of its endless plains, and most notably for the rich diversity and concentration of wildlife throughout the year and the picturesque scenery. I love the tented camps too, imagine falling asleep under a sky of twinkling stars, with no noise around you except the occasional roar of a far-off lion. The fabled African skies take on a whole new dimension in the dark! I have also had the incredible experience of witnessing herds of wildebeest plunge into the waters as they cross the ecosystem; it is a favorite and truly a wonder of the world. I have also travelled to Israel, the holy land, and just loved it. It was an incredible experience to visit and discover the most sacred sites in Jerusalem.

I have several years of experience in the field and have worked both in the hospitality and the tourism industries, which has given me lots of experience with clients' cultures and interests. Also, very importantly, I enjoy my work and love interacting with people from all over the world. My joy is to make my client's dreams come true.
