South Africa Escorted Tours and Guided Trips

I just wrapped up a Contiki tour through South Africa, and it was genuinely one of the best trips I’ve ever taken. The itinerary was the perfect mix of adventure and culture—one day we were spotting the Big Five on safari, the next we were taking in the views in Cape Town. Our trip manager (Luke) was an absolute legend, organized, knowledgeable, and always ready to hype up the group. The accommodations were comfortable, the activities were well-planned, and the optional add-ons were totally worth it. But honestly, the best part was the group energy. By the end, it felt like traveling with a bunch of friends you somehow just met but instantly clicked with. If you’re looking for a trip that blends unforgettable experiences with a whole lot of fun, this South Africa Contiki tour is a 10/10. Highly recommend!

This trip was life changing. The opportunity to see so much of the continent through amazing excursions and with like-minded people was incredible. The trip really exceeded all of my expectations! Everyone we met both in Africa and those who traveled with the group were all so kind and joyful. I would do this trip over and over again.

This trip was amazing! We did so many things and saw so many animals that I never thought we would see in the wild. All the safaris whether it was on land or river, were incredible. Different every time we went out. The lodging was all 5 star except the Tlou Lodge, but it was clean and they tried their best. Just not equipped for groups, but couldn't be helped because of the fire at the original place we were to stay. So this was a last minute substitute. The second half of our tour which was wine country, Cape Town and the Cape of Good Hope was a nice balance to the time in the outback. We loved Cape Town. Overall it was a great trip. Highly recommend. We were sad to come home.

Excellent trip with plenty of opportunities to see the wildlife and countryside of South Africa and Eswatini. We had a brilliant guide in Sam who was friendly, fun, caring, very well organised and very knowledgeable. During our tour we saw all of the Big 5 many times and learnt about the wildlife, peoples and culture of South Africa and Eswatini. I highly recommend this tour.uk

I’ve traveled many places around the world and this was by far one of the best trips I’ve ever taken. Very organized excellent hotels lots to see. You guys outdid yourselves.

Start to finish this was a fantastic trip. Our guide Clifford shared his deep knowledge of everything: animals and birds, trees and flowers, South African history and culture, hiking trail specifics and the smallest details about life in South Africa and Eswatini. Plus he was caring and kind and fun to be with. I really feel like I gained an understanding of the real South Africa because of Clifford and also the variety of experiences on this trip. We saw all the animals we had hoped to see, the hiking was challenging and extremely rewarding. The Drackensburg hikes were exceptional - scenery that is so beautiful that words and pictures cannot capture it. Even being there, on top of the "Amphitheatre", the grandeur, the immensity of the views, were impossible to truly fathom. Wow.
