Head for Mikumi National Park the day after that and enjoy four game drives in reserve before heading for the final destination on your itinerary, Zanzibar, an island that was a popular trade transit in the past.
Visit the island's Stone Town and enjoy a spice tour (Zanzibar was renowned as a center of the spice trade in the past) before catching a flight back to Dar es Salaam, from where you can take the flight back home.
It was an amazing experience and delighted I did it. But in comparison to other g tours I did I thought it was a little disjointed with the group which in my opinion detracted a bit from the experience, however it was still an unbelievable experience and I?m glad I did it. The sleeping accommodations and food were also excellent. We had absolutely nothing to complain about and didn't lack anything. This is a holiday I highly recommend to anyone who loves adventure.
The experience of seeing so many animals in their natural habitat exceeded our expectations and waking up to the sound & smells of the zebras & wildebeest at our campsite with girafe in the distance was unexpected and surreal - will never forget it!
