Good personal hygiene (like client hand washing facilities) was provided frequently on Kilimanjaro trek. Good food was provided for all diet choices.
I would have liked an extra day between the Kilimanjaro trek and the 3 day safari.
Ascend to the top of Africa with the Kilimanjaro – Lemosho Trek, a 10-day adventure tailored for experienced travelers ready for a strenuous physical challenge. Starting and ending in Moshi, you’ll follow the lesser-traveled Lemosho route—celebrated for its gradual approach and diverse scenery, ranging from lush rainforest to stark alpine desert.
Over seven days, your trek is paced to help you acclimatize and maximize your summit success. Supported by a team of expert guides, porters, and cooks, you’ll wild camp on the slopes, enjoying panoramic views as you push toward Kilimanjaro’s snow-capped peak. The sense of camaraderie and achievement is matched only by the dramatic landscapes you’ll traverse.
Once you’ve reached the summit, why not extend your stay? Optional add-ons include a relaxing escape to Zanzibar’s beaches or a wildlife safari in Tanzania’s best national parks.
The unique selling point of this tour package is its well-paced ascent and full-service support—giving you the best possible shot at summiting Africa’s highest mountain. For those seeking a true test of endurance and spirit, this trek is an unforgettable journey.
I would rate 5 Star for this Local Company
We had the absolute privilege of booking a safari with Kilisa Tours & Safari, and I can honestly say their service is nothing short of 5-star excellence. From the very first communication to the final day of our trip, the entire experience was handled with professionalism, warmth, and genuine care.
Our guide was incredibly skilled at spotting wildlife and shared insightful knowledge about the animals, landscapes, and cultures. Every game drive was exciting and perfectly paced, and the accommodations selected by Kilisa Tours were comfortable and well-suited to the authentic safari experience.
I would recommend this service to anyone as they deliver not only on organization and expertise but also on creating memories that will last a lifetime.
Craving both safari excitement and a mountaineering challenge? The Safari to Kilimanjaro – Machame Route tour is your ticket to the ultimate African adventure. Over 15 days, traverse Kenya and Tanzania’s legendary landscapes, from the bustling streets of Nairobi to the wildlife-rich plains of the Serengeti and the awe-inspiring Ngorongoro Crater.
The heart of this tour is the strenuous trek along the Machame Route to the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro—Africa’s highest peak—designed for fit and adventurous travelers seeking a once-in-a-lifetime accomplishment. After your summit triumph, descend and embark on a classic overland safari, with multiple game drives to spot elephants, lions, and elusive rhinos.
What sets this trip apart is its unbeatable combination of high-altitude trekking and world-class wildlife viewing, making it the perfect tour package for independent travelers with a passion for adventure.
Lions, panthers, cheetahs, elephants and a variety of wild animals meander lazily on grassy plains while Masai warriors watch out for their herds of cattle from a distance. Join us on this short, three-day trip to explore two of Tanzania's most famous nature reserves: Serengeti National Park and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Serengeti is Africa's most famous wildlife reserve. Known for its incredible concentration of predators and the great migration of two million wildebeest, the endless, grassy plains of this national park are a haven for wildlife enthusiasts. Ngorongoro, on the other hand, is known for a dense concentration of wildlife in a relatively small area as well as its volcanic caldera.
Your journey starts with a pickup from Moshi on Day 1 of this guided tour. Head for Serengeti where you will enjoy a half-day game drive before moving on to Ngorongoro. Spend more than six hours exploring the bowl-shaped reserve before transferring to your hotel in Moshi.
Please note that the tour price also includes two night's accommodation in Moshi, one night each before and after the trip. For more details, please scroll down.
