Our 10-day Vietnam tour is a journey from north to south, designed to immerse you in the country's rich culture, stunning landscapes, and unforgettable local experiences. You'll begin in the dynamic capital of Hanoi, where you'll explore ancient landmarks and delve into a vibrant culinary scene. From there, you'll cruise through the surreal beauty of Ha Long Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its towering limestone karsts and emerald waters, with opportunities for kayaking and an onboard cooking class.
The adventure continues as you board the overnight Reunification Express sleeper train, offering a unique glimpse of rural life as you journey to the imperial city of Hue. Here, you'll explore the historic Citadel and cruise the serene Perfume River on a traditional Dragon boat. The tour then takes you to the charming riverside town of Hoi An, another UNESCO site, famous for its beautifully preserved Ancient Town and the magical experience of releasing handmade lanterns onto the Hoai River at sunset. You'll also have a free day to explore Hoi An at your leisure, perhaps taking an optional cooking class in the peaceful Tra Que Vegetable Village.
The final leg of your journey takes you to the bustling southern hub of Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon). From there, you'll embark on a two-day excursion into the lush Mekong Delta. This is a highlight of the tour, offering genuine cultural immersion. You’ll visit local families to learn traditional crafts, paddle through tranquil canals on a rowing boat, and even participate in a 'ditch slapping' activity to catch fish for your own dinner. It's a hands-on experience that brings you closer to the rhythm of local life, making for a truly authentic and memorable trip.
For your comfort throughout the tour, we've carefully selected a range of quality accommodation. You will stay in good tourist-class hotels, typically rated 3 to 4-star, which provide a comfortable and welcoming base for your explorations.
