This fascinating river cruise will take you to the magnificent towns and famous cities of the Danube River. Your journey will begin in Passau, where you may board the cruise and travel to Durnstein. This is a breathtaking small town along the Danube, recognized as a high-quality winegrowing region in Austria. From there you will cruise along the river and visit Vienna, the extraordinary capital of Austria. This fascinating city offers imperial palaces, impressive cathedrals, famous operas, and more! Choose to discover Schönbrunn Palace, a beautiful city attraction and summer palace. Next, board the cruise and travel to Budapest. Uncover the fascinating contrast of Buda and Pest, two towns physically divided by the river. While these towns were once separated, they officially unified in 1873 forming the extraordinary city of Budapest. After this magical city, you will continue your journey to Bratislava, the breathtaking capital of Slovakia. Choose to visit Michael’s Gate, St. Martin’s Cathedral, or the Primatial Palace. Next, you will travel to Melk, home to the gorgeous Melk Abbey and 11th-century monastery. From there you will cruise to Passau where you will disembark the cruise.

Find me... munching on strudel in a chandelier-lit Viennese café, chasing gelato through Florence’s cobbled streets, getting lost in Prague’s fairytale lanes and lazing by the river in laid-back Ljubljana.

I enjoyed the variety of places we visited. I especially liked having a local guide at each location to learn about the history and culture of each place. The only regret for me was that we couldn’t spend more time in Lake Bled. I liked that we were able to take the boats over to the island, but I would have also enjoyed seeing a view of the lake from a higher vantage point to be able to see the entire lake with the island in the middle. Otherwise, I was fully pleased with the itinerary of the tour.

The trip was good. Just need to be considerate about the comfort of your clients on the hotels you choose to book them, somewhere that will make them more comfortable after a long day trip. Some of your guides are exceptionally very good, however some of your guides does not know how to communicate well with their passengers hence some miscommunication. The rest of the trip was well organized, you have very good bus drivers. Just need to improve some your itineraries.
An exciting family cycling adventure along a flat, traffic free section of the Danube River. This flat stretch of the Danube which is free of traffic and packed full of attractions, is an ideal introduction to cycle touring for all of the family. There is plenty of variety including a donkey adventure, boat rides on the Danube, historic sites such as the Melk Monastery and beautiful landscapes that will inspire children and adults alike.
