Begin with a walk through the heart of the city of Constantin to visit the dramatic former basilica of the Hagia Sophia. Move on to the Blue Mosque, officially known as the Sultanahmet Mosque. Continue to Topkapi Palace, a relic of the glory days of the great Ottoman Empire. You will also visit the Hippodrome, the ancient stadium built in 203 AD by the Roman Emperor Septimus Severus. See the Egyptian Obelisk, the Serpentine Column, and the Constantine Column. You'll also get to check out the gazebo-like German Fountain of Wilhelm II, made from 8 marble columns. At the end of the monument and sightseeing, we’ll stop at the Grand Bazaar; one of the largest and oldest covered markets in the world, with hundreds of small handicraft shops selling everything from handmade carpets to Turkish coffee. Pick up a souvenir if you wish!
Experience Istanbul's vibrant atmosphere on this evening tour. You'll begin with a Golden Horn ferry cruise, sailing past landmarks like the Galata Tower and the Iron Church with a local guide. Then, take a scenic walk down the bustling Istiklal Street, one of the city's most famous avenues. The tour offers an optional visit to the top of the Galata Tower for a breathtaking panoramic view of the city.

A short drive to Karakoy, where we will board the ferry, and cruise up the Golden Horn to Sutluce. Along the way you will see Galata Tower, the Bulgarian St. Stephen Church (Iron Church), the red St. George's Cathedral, the seat of the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople in Istanbul and the Rahmi Koc Museum.
From Sutluce we will drive to to Taksim Square, and from there a casual walk along the Istiklal Street to Galata Tower. Istiklal (Independence) Street is the busiest in Istanbul, comparable to Fifth Avenue or Oxford Street in its national notoriety. The 2 km stretch boasts shops with every product imaginable, cafes and restaurants, live music, bars, cinemas and much more.
Once at Galata Tower there will be an option of going up to the top of the tower where there is an oustanding panoramic view of Istanbul. Those preferring not to will have free time.
Guests wishing to take up the option of dinner at a traditional restaurant will be dropped there, whilst the others will be returned to their hotel.
